We hope you enjoy our brand new home in the Solterra Resort. This house is 6 bedroom, 4 1/2 bath with over 3,000 square feet of living space. There's plenty of room for multiple families to stay together, with sleeping accommodations for up to 14 people.

The home features an over-sized pool deck/lanai with a heated pool, spa, lounge chairs and an outdoor dining set.

Would definitely recommend this house!

The house was everything in the description. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, and when we go back to Florida we will reserve this place again. The owner was fantastic to deal with, prompt responses, and very helpful. The property management company was also great to deal with. The gated community was very clean, kid friendly, a lot of amenities, and my kids and family loved the pool/hot tub at the house, and the community pool/rec. area. Located about 10-15 minutes from Disney, driving distance to many stores (pharmacy, shooping, food, gyms, groceries, etc).

Plenty of room for a large family with a few minor but definitely fixable issues.

I will preface this review by saying overall we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for our large family. We chose this property for its proximity to Walt Disney World and found it to be conveniently located. The community pool looked amazing even though we did not get an opportunity to use it. However, there were a few details that went unnoticed by the management company that I believe was in no way the fault of the owner.

When we first arrived in the home and started to unpack our car I noticed that the house was less than clean. It looked as though someone came in and did a superficial speed cleaning which seemed rather sloppy. Upon further inspection I discovered dirty sheets covered in hair in the made up bed in one of the master bedrooms. In the same room the toilet was dirty although it had the special strip over the top that is suppose to show it was previously cleaned, not to mention the floor was dirty where something had been spilled yet no one took the time to mop it up. Needless to say before we were even able to completely settle in for the evening I was cleaning and washing sheets which is not exactly what I wanted to be doing after being in the car for 12 hours. This aspect of our stay was annoying, but once it was taken care of we were fine, after all we were on vacation and heading to the Magic Kingdom the next morning with our very excited children.

The heated pool was a nice amenity as we have several children who love to swim. They enjoyed it very much until we noticed a few of them breaking out in a rash that once diagnosed was confirmed to be folliculitis. Once again this is a cleanliness issue and the most likely cause is the hot tub not being properly maintained . Unfortunately, we did not get an opportunity to notify the management company about the issue as it was discovered on the last day of our vacation. This was very disappointing to say the least.

I will admit that I never contacted the owner or property manager during our stay. I was too busy enjoying the holiday with my family. However I think it is important to write this review in an effort to share honest feedback with the owner so he can avoid this type of incident in the future with other vacationers. I will add he seems to be very responsive, so had I chose to bring this to his attention during our stay I am more that positive these issues would have been addressed.

Clean, Modern, Private Secluded Home!

We stayed here for 14 nights with our two young daughters who are 4 and 2. We initially chose this home because Dustin was really responsive when we were making enquiries. This attention from Dustin did not stop throughout the whole time, with Dustin being responsive with all questions post booking. We needed a home that had stair gates and bed rails. Dustin purchased brand new ones for our stay which made the first night so much easier. Having done a long flight from the UK we arrived around 8pm and were able to quickly get the girls to bed.

I was worried at the check-in process with us arriving after the management company had gone home, but their instructions for collecting keys were simple and effective. I had no need to worry.

Our girls loved the pool. It was important for us to have a pool that wasn't overlooked as we don't like anyone able to see the girls playing, so choosing this home with its EXTREMELY high privacy rear was a huge bonus. The gaps at the side of the property are wide (REALLY wide!) and even teh homes at the side were pretty secluded from this home. There is lovely planting around the lanai so that when you are in the pool you can't be seen.

The rear deck is very deep and gave our girls a lot of room to run around on their own. The pools safety fencing was of a high quality and we felt very very comfortable letting the girls be out there on their own.

The internal furnishings are great! Lovely Smart TVs in the two dens, a well appointed kitchen with high quality appliances. One of the first things that my wife said was "the fridge smells really clean!" - the cleaners really do a thorough job on getting this home ready for its guests.

We were impressed with the beds. The mattresses were high quality and fresh - no creaking mattresses or tired bedding here! All pillows and bedding was fresh. Our girls loved the two themed rooms.

Dustin organised for us to have a grill on the deck which was great. We love to be able to get out on the back deck as much as possible and it was fantastic to have the ability to cook out there.

We would rent this home again in a heartbeat!

Our only thing we would improve is the amount of outdoor furniture on the decking. There were two grey chairs and two red chairs. We had friends over for dinner and would have loved to have a few more chairs so that we could all sit out there for food. Thats our own preference though!

My family really enjoyed our accomodations

This house is perfect for folks vacationing with multiple families. It's a clean house with easy access to Disney and Universal. The owners and property management team were prompt in answering questions and addressing concerns. Unfortunately, the pool filter broke on the last full day of our stay, but we thoroughly enjoyed the pool while we were able to.

Wow! I would have to start with that. The house was gorgeous! We stayed for 6 days for our Disney vacation. The best part of the vacation was the house! Lol! kids didn't want to leave. Everything is conveniently close by. Parks are also 12 minute drive. The owner was super helpful, he actually went above and beyond to make sure we had a place to stay and were taken care of. I will definitely be booking our next vacation here.

Great house, great resort

This is our second time renting a house in Orlando, and this house was far superior to the one we rented last year. Everything was in good working order, the pool and spa were great, house was in very clean condition when we arrived. Check-in was easy (though a bit far away from the resort...6 or 7 miles). Resort pool was great; will be even better once the lazy river opens up later this spring. The only thing I wished was a bit different was to have dual A/C controls for the upper and lower levels; the lower level was a bit cool due to the thermostat being upstairs. Communication with the owner was quick and comprehensive. I'd stay again!
