When we walked into this beautiful condo, we knew we had found our dream vacation home. You have breathtaking views and can hear the ocean from every room. Living is easy at the Polo Beach Club.

What makes this condo unique

Being so close to the water and up on the 8th floor, we feel a part of the ocean. You can hear and smell the sea from every room. Because we are so close to the ocean we find ourselves going for lots of spontaneous swims (early morning & sunset especially). I love the herb garden, I use it daily when I visit. The staff are very friendly & helpful. We can walk over to the Kea Lani if we don't want to cook, we don't have to even get in the car. There is complimentary concierge service available.

The condo was excellent! The location was great because we were out of main traffic but very close to town for shopping and dining. The decorations and layout of the condo was very conducive to relaxation. The sunsets , well they were breathtaking, and the views of ocean activities were so interesting. The thing that made our stay so great was the rapid response to our reservations and answering all of our concerns in such a timely manner. We received everything that was promised and the condo met all our expectations. If we are fortunate to visit Maui again, we will definitely try to come to Polo Beach Condo 801!

Beware of the Owner Manager, NOT HAPPY

My family has traveled many years to Maui, and i have always wanted to stay at the Polo Beach resort. This unit has been remodeled and the furnishings are very nice. The price is very high and i expect the unit to match.

My first concern is that the units are over 30 years old like most of Maui. This unit is on the top floor and gives you a excellent view. along with this the railings on the way up to the top floor are extrmely low, along with the outside Lanai. I never felt safe, and would never take kids in this unit.

My concern with the owners is that when we arrived the building was under construction the 14 total days we were here. 450 solar panels were installed directly above us, making noise. And the pool was being remodeled the complete stay and we never were able to use it for even one day. i called and asked for a discount of explanation as to why we were not told in advance. i would not trust these owners

Owner's Response: . I have had numerous comments from my guests raving about the incredible views from the 8th floor, I have never had anyone say they feel unsafe on the 8th floor. The lanai railings are all to code. . Whenever I have an inquiry stating there are children, I ALWAYS ask the ages of the children. I do not rent to parents with toddlers or very young children. . This guest booked during low season. Low season in Hawaii is when routine maintenance and any minor remodeling projects are performed. The rate this renter paid definitely reflected low season pricing. I explained this to the said renter. . This renter was NOT without the use of a swimming pool. The Fairmont property right next door offered Polo Beach guests not only the use of their pool, but also towel service and food and beverage service. All my other renters during this period very much enjoyed this perk. . MOST IMPORANT POINT IN MY RESPONSE TO THIS RENTER IS: You were traveling with your parents who are in their 80's and you stated that they are mobility impaired. BUT YOU TOLD ME THIS AFTER YOUR STAY, several weeks after your stay in fact. Your stay was in October of 2015 and you are writing this review in August of 2016. . While I of course do not ask the age of my guests (except for the children), had you shared with me the age of your parents and the fact that they are mobility impaired , I would have suggested a condo unit on the first floor. . I have excellent communication with my renters, I have many renters who have stayed at my condo 4 or more times.

801 @ Polo Beach Club

The Condo was excellent with magnificent views and sunsets. The remodeled unit was very comfortable with all ones needs in the kitchen. Although there were only two of us, it would be comfortable for a family of four. Yet, a bit small for two couples since second bathroom is not attached to the second bedroom. The underground parking made it very convenient for entry and exit when traveling around or unloading luggage and/or groceries.

The owner was very helpful in providing the details about check in and timing. The pictures in the listing were very accurate . I shall definitely recommend the unit to friends.

Polo Beach Club #801 | July 2012

We recently spent two weeks in Maui - one week in Polo Beach Club #801 and one week at the Four Seasons resort and if you are staying in the Wailea area of the island - you can't go wrong with the Polo Beach Club condo complex and #801 in particular. The 801 unit is wonderfully updated - great kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms (one king bed in master and two single beds in 2nd bedroom). The unit is on the top floor and you have great views of the ocean, beach and part of the island towards Big (Makena) Beach.

The beach in front of the condo is great - nice beach that is not crowded and you can walk to other beaches towards the Fairmont, Four Seasons, and Grand Wailea hotels.

So if you want more room (2 br and 2 ba) with a lot of flexibility (no valet parking/bellmen/tipping) with great accomodations and views - #801 is a great choice. Highly recommended for small families or couples.
