Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.
Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.
Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
The place was perfect. It had everything we needed and was a very cozy, relaxing space. The view was amazing and you can't beat the floor to ceiling glass . I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance to go back.
Husband and I enjoyed this property for our 13 year wedding anniversary. Love the location on the beach and with floor to ceiling windows, this unit really brings the ocean to you.
Comfortable accommodations with beautiful kitchen, granite countertops. Soaking in the garden tub was awesome after a day at the beach.
Rockaway Beach is so beautiful with white sand, not alot of people and miles to walk on.
Will be back!
We visited Nedonna Views with our adult children, and had a wonderful time. The layout of the condo was convenient, and we all stayed there comfortably. The views from the living room and deck were amazing. The location, at the north end of Rockaway Beach was quiet and private. We had other relatives staying in other units, and it would have been nice to be able to visit them without going all the way down and back up. Kind of inconvenient not having an elevator.
So happy with this. Perfect Atmosphere. Perfect Vacation Spot. Couldn't speak more highly of this property.
Why aren't elevators operating? Lugging gear up all those stairs is crazy. Our rental unit at Nedonna Shores was listed as sleeping up to 6 people. Actually, this unit can only sleep 4 adults. Our 5 adults were 1 too many. There were 2 basic wood kitchen chairs, 2 wooden benches, 1 small wood table and a L shape sofa (not a hide-a-bed) to accommodate all. There is no additional seating anywhere in the unit, unless you count the beds.. One lamp for the entire main living space, missing half it's bulbs.. The 2 beds? in the guest room meant to accommodate 4 are just small regular size mattresses (4' wide) that practically sit on the floor. Seriously, 2 small mattresses inches off the floor. Our 3rd guest slept on the couch in the main room. Ouch!!! Scant sheer curtains hung on inexpensive rods are the only window coverings in this guest bedroom and totally useless for blocking light. Very poor. Master queen bed is more what you'd expect, but only one small bedside table. No TV, no dresser, no chair. More useless curtains in master bedroom that actually fell off the bare curtain rods when we went to open them. There is only one light switch in the master bath area that controls all lights inside and out of the closed bath and toilet area. Light up the toilet in the night and you light up entire bedroom area. Bring your sleep mask or flashlight. The kitchen was very poorly stocked with what would normally be needed to cook a meal. Ice maker was broken. Under counter lighting fixture was missing cover with electrical exposed. Many light bulbs in the unit were burned out. And the one basic hand can opener wouldn't open cans. Lucky I had my trusty Swiss Army knife. Fixing Thanksgiving dinner here was an adventure for sure.
Lucky for us our Thanksgiving weekend was saved by the fantastic location and the weather was terrific so we didn't need to stay indoors much. The contact phone number we were provided with to contact property manager was "all circuits busy" until we finally gave up trying to call. We finally got in contact with a phone number on the website where we found this rental, but we were told there was nothing they could do to address our problems since they weren't on site. But they did allow us to check-out late without having to pay the normal $35 fee. Location is great, we'd just avoid this particular unit if possible.
This was our second time staying in the Nedonna Shores area of Rockaway Beach, and our first time at Nedonna Views. Hopefully it's only the first of many visits!
The condo is a lovely and tastefully appointed space; clean, modern, and full of nice touches like radiant heat flooring, indulgent sheets, and plenty of extra towels. It's situated in a great area of Rockaway Beach, with no neighbors to the north leaving plenty of quiet beach space on which to roam. The rear of the building (and the unit) is close to Hwy 101, but the view from the front windows makes you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere: just trees, sand, and the ocean.
The beds were very comfortable, the huge couch is perfect for lounging, and the bathrooms are nice enough to make you feel pampered (huge glassed-in showers and a large soaking tub in the master bath as well). The kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need, including an assortment of decent cookware and the important little things like a corkscrew and can opener. Everything was clean and well-prepared for our stay, and management was speedy and immediate in response at every point (pre- and during). A big plus for anyone with accessibility concerns: there is an elevator that takes you right to the unit, so you don't have to navigate stairs at all to get in.
We are already trying to plan our next visit; I prefer staying in uncluttered, more modern-feeling environs and that can be hard to find at the beach. This is perfect for one or two couples, since the bathrooms make sharing space easier. Our dog had a great time not only running on the beach but looking out the floor-to-ceiling window the rest of the time. I'd highly recommend this property!
