We recently stayed at this property for our 10 year anniversary. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The suite was very clean & well maintained. We often enjoyed sitting in the courtyard watching the activity of this fantastic city. The room was very close & convenient to just about everything we were hoping to see during our visit. While there we lived like locals. We walked Bourbon Street and made our way over to the French Market. We quite enjoyed Jackson Square & St. Louis Cathedral. They city is breathtaking & exciting. Lots to see & do. We of course didn't accomplish everything we wanted to during our stay so we will most likely be back at some point. There is no shortage of fantastic food. We enjoyed Belle's Diner & Bayou Burger. We discovered a hidden gem while we were there also. Quicksilver Deli offers free delivery of any food/grocery items that you may need during your stay. Tara was a very gracious hostess & checked in often to make sure we were pleased with our stay as well as to offer any helpful hints for exploring while we were there as we were unfamiliar with the city. We couldn't say enough good things about this property & would highly recommend to anyone wanting luxury accommodations while exploring the beauty that is New Orleans.

Beautiful condo in lovely, quiet, safe neighborhood

  • 5 of 5

The condo really does have lovely southern charm. Beautifully appointed, large, and comfortable with modern amenities in a safe residential neighborhood that is only a short walk to fine restaurants and entertainment in the French Quarter. We parked our car in the gated free lot and took some day trips, then came back to enjoy a glass of wine in the lovely private courtyard. We would stay here again!! Tara was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs.

Romantic little suite tucked away from the noise of the quarter

  • 5 of 5

Our stay here was perfect even though we had a little mishap that was taken care of immediately by the owner.

First and foremost the location is amazing. 3 blocks from bourbon and 3 blocks from Frenchmen with a little grocery store right at the end of the street. Very safe to walk around and enjoy the residential part of the quarter. It was so nice to leave the chaos of Bourbon street and walk down a tree lined street in a quiet neighborhood.

The suite is located in a large old home and as you enter you are greeted with a lovely foyer with that old house smell you find so frequently in Nola (just the foyer but come on it's a very old house) down the end of a hall with a charming arched entrance was our suite. It was perfect and all you need for 2 people. Large room with high ceilings and a large bed (the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in on vacation I might add) As we were in the middle of so much good food we didn't use the kitchen but my favorite part is the little courtyard outside the room. Perfect for waking up in the morning and just enjoying the fresh air.

The exposed brick on the bay window, the moldings and the details of the room really do have that Southern Charm as it says in the description. All in all an amazing stay and we look forward to going back:)

Beautiful apartment ~ looks just like the pictures

  • 5 of 5

This is my first time in New Orleans and I am so beyond happy with my decision to stay at this apartment! First off the room is beautiful and very spacious. A feather top is provided for the pull out bed, making it extremely comfortable. However, the best part about this apartment by far is the location. You are within walking distance to great restaurants, Frenchman Street, and of course Bourbon Street. But when you're ready to come home and sleep you are far enough away to not hear the ongoing craziness. Tara was more than helpful. She provided her cell number and was quick to get back to me if I had a question. She was also kind enough to provide a list of recommended restaurants, tours, and overall things to do during your stay. If you are thinking of a trip to New Orleans in the future I would highly recommend you stay in this apartment!

Perfect stay for our Christmas gifts from our husbands!

  • 5 of 5

I fell in love with this place as soon as we walked through the front door! This suite is beautiful, extremely clean and spacious with an ultra-cozy feel! We traveled with another couple and they stayed in the suite next to ours and even though it was slightly smaller, it was more stunning. Access to the private patio made our stay more pleasurable! It has the New Orleans charm we were looking for and was the perfect hang out for the four of us before or after walking the French Quarter or Frenchman Street. The only thing it lacked was lighting, but we fixed that issue by buying a couple of candles at the convenient store a block away. Even though the temps were chilly and the heater tried it’s best to keep up, there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows to snuggle and warm up with in the big comfortable bed.

The location couldn’t be more perfect! Being just outside of the French Quarter, on the quiet side, was the ideal location for us. Most everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. If and when it wasn’t we used Uber. Which we highly recommend.

This trip was our first VRBO stay. Tara was extremely accommodating and easy to communicate with. She was quick to respond and had answers for all of our questions. I can’t thank Tara enough for making it an easy and pleasurable process!

As for activities, I think we saw everything and anything we could on the French Quarter in January. The Aquarium is wonderful-especially for a rainy or hot day. Mardi Gras World was a must see for the artists in our group. A must do is an Airboat ride through the bayou! We went with Swamp Adventures and had Captain Rodney as our tour guide. We all wanted to go again after our 2+ hour tour was over! Check it out @, they even provide transportation if needed for a fee. Cemetery tour is a must. We also did a Haunted Pub Crawl, our tour guide, Gina, was informative and entertaining! We discovered we could only take the party section of Bourbon Street in small doses, but we found a few “locals” bars that we really enjoyed. Our two favorites were Boondock Saints (Jen is a joy) and Harry’s on the Corner (Paul is a trip). The food that stood out the most was my husband’s Seared Tuna at Oceana and my stuffed shrimp at Deanie’s. The rest of the food we had on the FQ was average.

I would recommend this to any couple or any group traveling to NOLA!
