Casita Azul - A Montecito Hidden Gem Near Butterfly Beach

This duplex was designed by architect William Painter, and this unit is a chic pied-a-terre with ambiance that is both warm and sophisticated. Enter through a hidden garden gate to a lush and cozy oasis with a tropical "secret garden" feel. The bright cobalt blue door is just the beginning of colorful design choices that play against the interior's neutral palette.

Newly remodeled, the home's interior sparkles with all new furnishings and finishes. Spectacular floor to ceiling windows are the central focus of the main Living space. The Living Room has a cozy fireplace and lovely view to the outside patio.

The Kitchen, with PJ Milligan pine cabinetry, also features granite counter tops. A nearby nook provide the convenience of brand new washer and dryer. The Master Suite is "loft style" and open to the Living Room below. Upstairs, there is also a second guest Bedroom and Hall Bathroom with a luxurious spa tub.

Dine outdoors, or walk to Coast Village Road to "Lucky's" or "Montecito Cafe" for a great meal. With an ideal location, this home is also a short 5-minute walk to the Four Seasons Biltmore and World Famous Butterfly Beach. Dining on Coast Village Road is easy and also just a quick walk to great food, coffee, cocktails and more! The Friday Farmer's Market is a great way to get acquainted with locals and sample organic produce - bring some home and create a wonderful meal!

Stays of less than 30 nights are subject to a 12% Lodging Tax + $2.20/night Tourism Tax.

Perfect retreat near everything.

One of the most pleasant experiences yet through Paradise Retreats. Casita Azul is in perfect condition (pride of ownership is evident) and is conveniently located near both butterfly beach and Coast Village Road. Our stay was delightful and peaceful. Yes, you will hear traffic noise if sitting outside in the delightful garden but inside all is quiet. Yes, the train passes by a few times a day. I consider this an addition to Santa Barbara’s charm.

The place was in a great location, close walking to downtown Montecito and the beach. The house was very well equipped with everything you could need. Would definitely rent this place again!

Amazing time!

I went on vacation and my 2 adult children. Casita Azul was perfect for us. We walked to the beach in less the 5 minutes. The house had everything we needed and more. Short drive to the Funk Zone and downtown Santa Barbara. I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful home, simply charming!

I had a lovely “ car-less “ stay at Casita Azul. Two girlfriends & I took the train to Santa Barbara, two of us coming from Orange County

and the other From San Franciso . We ubered over to the Casita from the train station and walked everywhere else. The location was perfect ….

Literally a five minute walk to Butterfly Beach and the lovely Biltmore where we had drinks overlooking a fabulous Ocean view. Coast village Road was also a five minute walk where their are numerous restaurants.

We liked observing the “ scene “ at Luckys ! The Casita was comfortable , spotless and the kitchen well stocked. We had everything we needed. We will return !
