This duplex was designed by architect William Painter, and this unit is a chic pied-a-terre with ambiance that is both warm and sophisticated. Enter through a hidden garden gate to a lush and cozy oasis with a tropical "secret garden" feel. The bright cobalt blue door is just the beginning of colorful design choices that play against the interior's neutral palette.
Newly remodeled, the home's interior sparkles with all new furnishings and finishes. Spectacular floor to ceiling windows are the central focus of the main Living space. The Living Room has a cozy fireplace and lovely view to the outside patio.
The Kitchen, with PJ Milligan pine cabinetry, also features granite counter tops. A nearby nook provide the convenience of brand new washer and dryer. The Master Suite is "loft style" and open to the Living Room below. Upstairs, there is also a second guest Bedroom and Hall Bathroom with a luxurious spa tub.
Dine outdoors, or walk to Coast Village Road to "Lucky's" or "Montecito Cafe" for a great meal. With an ideal location, this home is also a short 5-minute walk to the Four Seasons Biltmore and World Famous Butterfly Beach. Dining on Coast Village Road is easy and also just a quick walk to great food, coffee, cocktails and more! The Friday Farmer's Market is a great way to get acquainted with locals and sample organic produce - bring some home and create a wonderful meal!

7-Night minimum for all bookings made before Oct 1st.
3-Night minimum for current year bookings made after Oct 1st.
Christmas Weeks (Dec 19 - 26 & Dec 26 - Jan 2)
7-Night minimum (in the fixed weeks above) for all bookings made before Nov 1st.
3-Night minimum (and flexible dates) for current year bookings made after Nov 1st.
Stays of less than 30 nights are subject to a 10% Lodging Tax + $2/night Tourism Tax.
$250 Cleaning Fee (14+ night stays require additional cleaning fees), Booking Fee (varies based on reservation cost).
$1,000 security deposit refundable within 14 days of checkout. Deposit is reduced to $250 with purchase of Damage Waiver.
30+ night stays require extra security deposit, and do not qualify for the damage waiver program.

What a lovely property! We truly enjoyed our week stay in the cozy and warm atmosphere of Casita Azul. Everything was top notch and well thought out. It is truly a well-appointed high-end rental…and the fireplace was a bonus! The location can’t be beat with the amenities of the Four Seasons, Coast Village Road with it’s numerous restaurants and Butterfly Beach such a short walk away…. ! We hope to be back to enjoy Casita Azul again and again...and again...!!!
Little gem in the heart of Montecitto. Perfect for four persons. Mediterranean look and feel. 5 minute walk to wonderful beach and excellent eateries.
I loved the condominium. It was so nice to be able to walk to the beach and Coast Village Rd. The restaurants along Coast Village Road are delicious and the shops are lovely. I had so much fun. The slight sound of the train at night was so romantic and made me think of far away places. I can't wait to return. What a wonderful escape. Just what I needed.
My husband and I spent a month in Casita Azul. It has a great location, a very comfortable bed and is well equipped with good quality linens and kitchen equipment. While it is only a little over a block from the railroad tracks, and the trains do blow their horns whenever they pass, it is only during the day, which was not a problem. Highway 101 also is just over a block away, but there was no freeway noise. The street next to the house, however, is a very busy street and it does create a lot of noise. My biggest complaint, however, is the arrangement with the management company. We were required to give them a damage/security deposit equal to the months rent when we booked (September 15, 2015). The rental payment was due December 11, 2015. Our stay was from March 3, 2016 to April 2 and we did not get our damage/security deposit back until April 19. In other words, the management company had use of our damage/security deposit for over seven months. I have rented many times in the U.S. and Europe, and I've never had to pay a damage deposit that large, nor have we had to pay it in advance. Additionally, we've always received it back upon our departure. This certainly tempered my opinion of staying at Casita Azul.
We needed a weekend getaway and Casita Azul was the perfect place! It was luxurious, comfortable and clean inside and out. It had all the amenities needed. We enjoyed relaxing inside and dining on the private patio. Couldn't ask for a better location...a five minute walk to the beach, close to restaurants and shops and hiking trails. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!
My wife and I had a wonderful stay in August. Parking was easy as was finding the condo and getting inside. The unit is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Lots of great light through the large windows and the 2 TVs entertained us at night. We stayed in the main bedroom loft but may return with friends or family that would easily be comfortable in the second bedroom. While we did spend a lot of time away from the condo at the beach (a few blocks away, next to the luxurious Biltmore Four Seasons), when at home we really enjoyed the private garden patio. Can't wait to come back and use the BBQ next time. Speaking of food, the kitchen was very large with everything you would need. And although we didn't need it, the in unit washer dryer would've been very handy.
We really liked the great location between the beach and the main strip of Montecito where all the restaurants and shops are. Both are short walks away. We even walked a relatively long 2 miles along the beach into Downtown Santa Barbara.
Looking forward to going back!
