This suite combines two unique features that set it apart from other Lahaina Shores one bedroom units.
First, along with the advantage of being a corner unit, it offers the comfort of a true one bedroom, but without foot traffic by your lanai, or cars parking near your bedroom -as is the case with the first floor one bedroom units.
In addition, the open lanai's give you optimum views of mountains and ocean.
We have arrived back in Australia and we wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic time in your apartment! We loved the location, the size of the apartment, the kitchen, the bathroom and the bed was so comfortable. Everything was great. We didn't do much as we had done all the touristy things before, so we just walked to the centre of Lahaina, walked on the beach and relaxed on the balcony. The staff in the resort was very friendly.
Our stay in Vilma's condo was all we had hoped for. With views of the mountains and the ocean, the breezes flowing through the apartment definitely say Aloha Hawaii. With a Southeast exposure, the apartment is bright and sunny throughout the day,
The unit is very well kept, spacious and was immaculate upon our arrival. There was everything we needed to make our stay easy and comfortable in the kitchen and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, and the towels and linens were plentiful. Vilma even has a supply of beach toys, snorkle equipment and sand chairs. Everything you need for a perfect beach vacation.
The check in process was very easy and the front desk hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Access to the beach is just a few steps away, and we spent days just sitting in the sand chairs at the waters edge watching the boats, and people in kayaks and on paddle boards. And, if you're lucky enough, whale watching can be done from the apartment's patio/terrace.
The location couldn't be better. The building is a 10-15 minute walk to downtown Lahaina, and is adjacent 505 Front street which has a bar, a few restaurants and a general store,
I would say that the only negative was that the pool is small and not heated, so we didn't use it, but the ocean waters called and it wasn't an issue for us.
Vilma was available via email during our stay and easy to communicate with.
We would definitely return.
We stayed in Vilma's condo for 2 weeks in December. This is an outstanding condo. The views of the mountains and the ocean are great. The bedroom is really large with mountains views. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything you need and more. The condo is very clean. Easy walking distance to downtown Lahania. The only negative--the furniture is not very comfortable--but who cares you have the beach and pool. I would recommend this condo--it is really great.
We couldn't have asked for anything better for our honeymoon. The two lanais with incredible mountain views (with clouds, rainbows, stars, etc) and beach views were surreal! Vilma takes great care of the place, it is very nicely remodeled and decorated, with everything we possibly would want/need, including snorkel gear and boogie boards. All the staff at Lahiana Shores were so nice and helpful, anything from giving us recommendations to holding our luggage between checkout and flying out. Great location, as we could walk to any shop or restaurant any time of day! Definitely a place we would go back to! It really felt too good to be true.
Enjoyed a relaxing, restful stay in this gorgeous, updated VERY clean condo! The kitchen supplied EVERYTHING we needed to fix full breakfasts and a couple of full dinners, except food of course. The fridge had an automatic ice maker, which we were thankful for. The bed is very comfortable and the linens were fabulously soft and inviting after long days of snorkeling and swimming. We enjoyed the tiled, glass enclosed stand up shower very much! The a/c runs on two different thermostats: one for the main living area and one for the bedroom. Was nice to have the trades blow in without compromising cooler sleeping conditions.
The property is nice; kind of a boutique style with an historic 'Hawaii' feel. The beach is nice and sandy, however, it is VERY shallow and rocky just a few yards from the shoreline. We had to use our water shoes here and snorkeling is not good. Be aware that you most likely will be parking in the underground garage next door and not out front. It was a $3.35 per day plus tax charge. The pool is cool and refreshing and surrounded by beautiful grounds and plenty of loungers and even some tables.
Very close proximity to shopping, dining and sites. Just a few blocks from the Banyan Tree square and the harbor! We enjoyed Cool Cat Cafe and Pacific O restaurants.
If you plan to stay in Lahaina, you simply cannot get a better, more relaxing and beautiful condo than this quiet, fifth floor 'end unit' beauty! We HIGHLY recommend Lahaina Shores for couples, especially 50+
My husband and I just returned from Vilma's condo today, and I needed to write a rave review immediately. We stayed for 6 nights and really couldn't have imagined a better place to stay. While the condo itself is perfect and impeccable, the location is what makes this absolutely amazing. I've visited Maui before and stayed on Kaanapali beach, but I enjoyed this location even more. It is right on Front street - the main road for shopping and restaurants in Lahaina, but it's just far enough away where you aren't in the thick of it. It is a very short and enjoyable walk to all the liveliness of Front street. There are also a few bars and restaurants right next door, as well as a Luau!
The condo itself is stunning. Everything is updated and works well, and the kitchen is stocked with all the cooking utensils you'll need. Traveling so far (from Chicago) is stressful, so it was a huge relief when we arrived to a gorgeous, well functioning condo with a VERY comfy bed! The two balconies are absolutely perfect - one faces the beautiful mountains, and the other on the side gives you a gorgeous look down the beach and ocean. The ocean is of course a fantastic view, but drinking coffee and watching the sun rise over the mountains was something I'll always remember. Lahainia Shores itself is very well run, with more quiet, respectful guests and very friendly staff.
There is a small pool and hot tub, as well as beach access, but the beach is not ideal for sun bathing and swimming. However, you can still set up a chair or walk a little ways down the beach and set up there. I personally preferred it to the busy and crowded Kaanapali beach, but we didn't find ourself doing a ton of sunbathing during our stay.
This property is a MUST stay! We will hopefully be back one day!
My husband and I stayed in Vilma's condo 2 years ago. I had to pick a date in the calendar for this review - but it would not go back that far...... I cannot believe it has taken me this long to write my review because this condo was awesome. It was in the perfect location, had tons of space and the lanai is incredible. I could not believe the wrap-around space outside the condo for enjoying the views (water & mountain - how perfect) and relaxing. We loved walking to town, the pool was so beautiful and hit the spot after a day at the beach, the condo amenities were spot-on. This was a great getaway for a couple and having the new kitchen and oversized living room was just what we needed. thank you again Vilma for renting your condo to us and I'm sorry I wasn't able to tell everyone how great your place is until 2 years later !
