About Gerri Jackson

We are a family owned and operated vacation rental company specializing in luxury homesteads in the Southeastern United States. We have been in this business since 2010 and have goals of expanding to Belize and the Bahamas in order to continue our theme of ecotourism with a flare.

Why Gerri Jackson chose Amelia Island

Our family has been enjoying the Amelia Island experience for years with our young children and we very quickly decided that this would be an excellent location to own a vacation home. The people are extremely friendly and inviting and the vibe is relaxed. The sun shines brightly and the soft white sand cushions your feet as you stroll along the shore. If you love the beach, water sports and the outdoors, then this is the place for you next vacation!

What makes this house unique

This open and airy home welcomes visitors as they enter the foyer. The gourmet kitchen will delight the chef in you even if your speciality is just scrambled eggs. The two living areas provide ample opportunity for family and friends to kickback, relax and reconnect.

Beautiful Home !

  • 5 of 5

The pictures don't do it justice! This home is beautifully decorated, with a warm cozy feel. It is walking distance from the beach and the bikes add to our fun. Can't wait to return to cook in that gourmet kitchen!

Wonderful As Always!

  • 5 of 5

Still an oasis even after Irma! We had a delightful time in this beautiful home. The beach is cleaned up and we enjoyed it just like we did during our last visit. We can't wait to return!

nice place off the beaten path

  • 5 of 5

Spacious home in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room for the 6 of us (2 adults, 4 teens). Cooked most meals at the house and had plenty of pots, bowls, utensils. Rode bikes to beach and grocery store which are both about 1/2 mile+ away. Daily run to the boardwalk and back (~4+ miles total). As the home is in a neighborhood with probably mostly permanent residents, this is not a party location or where the action is. This is what I wanted, but for others this might not be ideal. We were not so interested in shopping and dining out. Went to Sliders our first night there and enjoyed the band, breeze, and view from the upper deck. Netflix was available but the connection in the living room was slow and timed out a lot. Worked better in the 2 back bedrooms (never used the TV in the master). Loved that multiple bikes were on site and all of us ranging in height from 62-69 inches were able to find a bike to fit us. LOVED the industrial-size washer which ensured we always had fresh beach towels ready each day. July 4th festivities downtown were fun and free. Parking was also easy for that and when we went to the marina to go sailing. Nice area for a visit and this house is centrally located so doesn't take long to go anywhere.

Additionally, the many weekend festivals provide opportunities to enjoy fresh from the ocean seafood, live music, and original art. Amelia is home to 117 holes of world class golf. The water is your playground for kayaking, surfing, or deep sea fishing. Amelia has a rich history of hosting luxury tourists and fabled pirates. The museums of Amelia depict this colorful history with interactive exhibits for both young and old alike. The island's landscape reflects an abundant ecosystem of maritime forrest, natural wetlands, and indigenous botanical gardens.
