When we saw the view from the Balcony and fell in love with the condo. At some point when we retire, we hope to spend half the year there. We have a little condo-tel in Daytona and have been coming to the area for more than 15 years.

There may be a few higher end condos on the beach, but Sanibel was one of the last ones build. It is well constructed and amenities and top notch. Most other high end condos only allow for a month minimum rentals, ours are a week minimum.
The building right at the edge of the no drive beach, so you can choose to go 50 feet south and not be near the traffic and enjoy the Wolds Most Famous Beach or you can bring your car on the beach and enjoy it that way. It's a great spot for children since the no drive beach is right there so you don't have worry about them and traffic.
We had a FANTASTIC time at Unit 901 in the Sanibel Condo! Dan takes great care of his renters. He is very responsive and attentive to his tenants. The condo has everything you could ask for! Fully stocked kitchen with pots and pans, a Keurig, a regular coffee pot, a roomy refrigerator, and so much more! The bathrooms were in immaculate condition and were very spacious (which comes in handy with children). The closets were HUGE and the beds were very comfy. The view from the balcony of the ocean and the pier were priceless! You will not regret renting this unit and you wont be able to find a better owner! The unit is even better than described. Underground parking was a huge plus and the walk to the beach is just seconds away. The pool and hot tub were very refreshing. We cannot say enough good comments about renting from Dan and staying at Sanibel. You wont be disappointed!
The condo is close to many great attractions and places to eat. You can't miss Aunt Catfish by the River. You have to try the salad and hot bar!! Also, Inlet Harbor is great place to eat with live bands right on the river. Historic North Turn has fantastic offerings and you can catch some NASCAR History. One of the best putt-putts in Daytona is less than a mile away, Pirates Island! Challenge your friends to 18 holes of great fun. Crabby Joe's is a fun restaurant out on the pier. It is within walking distance!
We would recommend this condo to families looking to have a great time in Daytona. Sanibel marks the end of where you can drive on the beach. We set our tent and umbrella up only 30 yards from the condo where you can't drive on the beach. We still got to see the Ice Cream truck come through every hour though!

Unit 901 at Sanibel was exactly as described. Beautiful, spacious condo tastefully decorated and well equipped. Dan was wonderful to work with. We had a minor problem upon check in and a phone call to him was immediately answered and resolved quickly. We will certainly plan to stay here again next trip to beautiful Daytona Beach Shores area. Location was perfect for our family.
Our stay at Dan's home was Amazing! The views...we could witness the sunrise and sunsets from the master bedroom.
We had more than enough room for the 4 (adults) of us.
We were able to cook dinners with the utensils provided. Any shopping we needed to do was close to the condo, and the beach is just a few steps away.
We will definitely look to stay again the next time we visit Daytona.

Room was just as shown. Very comfortable bed's and away from the traffic.
This condo had great views, close to everything, had everything like we were home. We stayed during the Daytona 500 had a wedding to attend and the condo was very quite for the week we were there but still close to all the excitement if needed. Dan was very easy to deal with and responded quickly with any questions we had. We will defiantly stay here next time we travel back to Daytona.

My wife and I and our two teenage daughters stayed at the Condo for one week. The condo was very much as described and overall was very comfortable. The bedrooms were very nice and comfortable, the master had a nice king size bed and the two other bedrooms had queen size beds. The kitchen had all of the basics, and we made a number of meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) with no issues. There is a Publix market a few miles to the north that is quite convenient. The condo had a few serviceable beach umbrellas and chairs, has good views of both the beach (condo faces north, so not a full beach view) and the river / causeway. We saw some amazing sunsets! The building was pretty nice, and the gym was decent (basic, but has a treadmill, bike and a multi-purpose weight machine). The pool was decent size, but we ended up not using it much. The beach was fantastic (and the weather cooperated nicely), and the water was inviting, and we often saw dolphins and many fish swimming near us.
Dan made the rental process very simple, and we didn't have any problems that required immediate attention during our stay. Overall we had a great time and I expect that we will try to stay there again the next time we visit Daytona Beach.
