My friends and I rented this home for my buddy's bachelor party this past weekend. The place was an absolute hit. Plenty of space for ten of us and most of us had private bedrooms. Two bathrooms and two showers were perfect. Everything was clean and whatever we needed we were able to find (ie playing cards, cooking utensils, etc).
Tuckerman's Tavern was within walking distance and we were able to have a van pick us all up and bring us to to the main drag for under $50 using Fast Taxi. We rented snowmobiles at nearby Northern Extremes which was only about a 15 minute drive away. All and all a truly awesome trip. Jon was super accommodating and well organized. Everything was as described and everyone had a blast. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
We was very impressed with the house😍, very comfortable and cozy too. It had everything that we needed from the kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. We loved that they had a full stock of medicines area which was very convenient for us. The kids love the place too, they even ask if we can live there😂. FYI this house had a fire pit outside too. We'll definitely book here again for our future stay. ❣️
The owner was very quick with responding back via emails. 👍🏽We also was asked to stay a few extra nights with no additional charge, which was very awesome. 🤗😊
The only disappointment we had was there was no hot tub available during our stay😔. Hopefully in the future they will have it available.
And also the grill was old and not clean. But we wasn't planning on cooking outdoors anyways.
I feel like I accomplished so much during my stay here. I was able to do a day hike in the White Mountains, visited the children's museum, Dianna's Bath (short hike and waterfall), and drove up cathedral ledge. This was all during a 3 day weekend. The house was so close to everything that it was a great home base.
The location of the house is on a little dead end road that is private and great for a quiet getaway. My youngest (3 year old) and I enjoyed short walks up and down the road that abutted a creek/brook. All the neighbors were super friendly and I didn't have to worry about traffic.
The house itself is great. The main space on the first floor is cozy enough for a smaller family, but the additional beds/rooms in the basement and in the loft are perfect for a bigger group. We loved the 3 season room as an extra play area for our young kids. Everything was very clean upon arrival and I immediately felt comfortable in the home.
We had to run the humidifier in the basement area since we had rain that weekend, but since we mostly hung out/slept on the main floor, this was not an issue for us.
Rented this location for a mild bachelor party weekend, and it could not have been a better spot. Quiet, secluded area. The house was more then enough room for 8 grown men to sleep comfortably. House is exactly as listing indicates, nothing is missing. Really loves the outdoor gas fire place- it was very relaxing to sit around at night. The location is perfect for Attitash mountain and North Conway. I plan to rent again in the future with my full family!
I rented this home with my husband, parents, mother-in-law, 4 friends and a baby. The home was beautiful and so well kept. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms roomy. Wifi connection was great and much appreciated since most of us couldn't get cellphone reception in the area. The TV had cable, Netflix and Amazon which covered all the needs for my father and the 1 year old. We were pleasantly surprised to find the kitchen fully stocked with all the basics (oil, salt, pepper, sugar, coffee, flour, etc.). Everything was really clean as well.
The home is so close to the town and all the Saco river activities. It rained the entire time we were there but we definitely made the most of it (there were board games downstairs).
The owners were really fantastic. They sent a welcome email before we arrived with very detailed steps about how everything worked. They were also very responsive and willing to help.
I can't recommend this place more! If you're looking for a home away from home after enjoying some of the White Mountain activities, this is the place.
This home is very beautiful. We rented it for a family get away after the holidays. We left the day after Christmas. It was very clean and everything was ready for us. The owners sent the directions for the house a few days before which were very helpful. The owners are very responsive. Close enough to everything. The kitchen had everything you need to make any homemade meal. We cooked in a lot. We would diffidently stay here again. I would recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay. My kids got to go hiking and explore the area. We shopped at Zeb's General Store and had coffee at Metropolitans Coffee shop. Fantastic home!
