If you've decided on an Anna Maria Island vacation, it's probably because you like to see the water. And if you like to see the water, you can't find a better spot than this wonderful two-bedroom, two-bath ground floor condo in Seaside Gardens, where the water is so close, you may forget you're still on land!
This charming unit features a newly remodeled kitchen that opens to the dining area. There is comfortable seating in the living room with a whole wall of beautiful views of the water.
The Master bedroom has a queen bed, a walk-in closet, an en suite bath with a tub/shower combo supplied with plenty of fluffy towels and linens, and great water views of the sunrise. The second bedroom also has an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower, as well as walk-in closets, twin beds and a television. The laundry room is outside the front entrance. Villa Roma sleeps up to 4 guests.
Seaside Gardens is a friendly community located in the heart of Holmes Beach, offering loads of choices right at your doorstep. Walk to the library, shops, restaurants, and the beach, or go a bit further afield by hopping on the free Island Trolley; the northbound line stops right at the end of the street. A ride on the trolley will connect you to shops and restaurants on Pine Avenue, the Anna Maria Historical Society Museum, the Island Players Theater, the historic Anna Maria City Pier, and lots more opportunities to hit our gorgeous beaches.
From your unit you can also walk into Holmes Beach and catch the southbound trolley for a visit to Bradenton Beach and historic Bridge Street, or take a stroll on the miles of beachfront paths that run along Coquina Beach. You might also decide to connect to other lines that can take you to Longboat Key, St. Armands Circle, and the artistic options available in downtown Sarasota.
If a water adventure is your style, bring your kayaks and launch them right off your personal dock. The dock also happens to be a great place to fish. Bringing your own boat? The Holmes Beach public boat launch is conveniently located next door.
You don't have to be a boater or a fisherman, however, to enjoy the beauty of Villa Roma's water views. The large patio is likely to become your favorite spot for relaxation and soaking up the sun. It's also a great spot for bird-watching, and is a favorite with the elegant birds of prey and sea birds.
Great location. Gorgeous view and you can't beat location. The property is not for someone looking for a beautiful, updated, beachy feel. It's very very very dated on the inside and doubtfully has ever seen a single renovation or update. Not important to us, but may be to some.
