A converted barn with luxury finishes is the perfect spot for your vacation on the Eastern Shore of the Chesapeake Bay.
Surrounded by water and farmland, the Jane Lowe barn is a 3,500-square-foot private property. The home is situated on a three-acre stretch on a protected inlet, nestled between St. Michaels and Tilghman Island.
Discover the serenity of the Chesapeake Bay, watching blue herons, bald eagles and osprey from your front window. Cozy up and watch the birds and fish, crab or sun from the floating dock. Kayak, play lawn games and watch the sun set from the beach or living room. In the summer, cool off in the 50-ft swimming pool (open until the end of September and shared with the farmhouse on the same piece of land).
The house has everything you need; areas to lounge, nooks to read, a massive game room with a pool table, poker table, foosball, and board games, flat screen TVs for shows, movies and satellite WIFI for internet and four large bedrooms for 6+ people to sleep comfortably. Eat, drink and entertain with the help of a professional Wolf stove and flattop, a barbecue, decks, and balconies.
Downtown St. Michaels and all of its attractions are very close, as is Easton.

Met family at the house for Labor Day Weekend 2016. The house and property met all my expectations! The house was clean and had all the cooking utensils/ware that we needed for the entire weekend. Large TVs in the living room and game room were great for watching the opening weekend of college football. The best part was the outdoor area. It was peaceful, quiet, and relaxing. I've also never seen such beautiful sunsets as the ones we watched from the dock each evening. I would definitely go back again!
We are a family of five (7, 3, and 6 month old) and we had the most incredible time! It was absolutely perfect getaway for us getting out of city. The frontyard view was stunning. It rained for one day but it did not bother us as there was a huge game room. Our kids loved exploring outdoor. We will definitely go back!
We went here to celebrate our one year anniversary. We also stayed here in January 2016 so this was our second visit. Such a beautiful property, close to town, relaxing...really everything you could want. Only suggestion would be to bring extras of paper products (TP, paper towels), dish/laundry detergent. Maybe we use more than the average people but we've run out on both visits.
Heather was a pleasure to deal with. House was cleans and nice, pool and lake are gorgeous!
We so enjoyed our stay. Even with 90 degree temperatures there was a light breeze that kept things pleasant. The pool was just wonderful and, the kayaks were so much fun and the perfect way to watch sunrise and sunset. The game room kept everyone entertained. One of our families new favorite vacation spots! We can't wait to return :-)
Our family had a great time visiting the Barn House! We were able to spend some quality time together. The game room was a lot of fun for the kids and adults. We all enjoyed the private beach area building sand castles and watching the sunset. We got lucky that we had a rare 70degree day in early November and got to explore the fall foliage on the kayaks and finish the night roasting marshmallows at the fire pit. We drove about 15 minutes into the heart of St. Michael's for lunch one day and dinner the next day. Everything is updated and the house is in great shape with plenty of room for the 6 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog.
We will definitely be planning another stay here and hopefully in the summer so we can enjoy the pool also! Highly recommend this place! Heather was very quick to respond to any questions we had and the pictures are accurate to the actual house!
