We spent a long week -end Hiking the trails on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin was the perfect location for access to restaurants in Asheville and then hiking during the day. Rebecca recommended a hike along the Larel River and then we rented Hot Tub ( # 5) at nearby Hot Springs. We had a fantastic vacation. The cabin was very clean ,comfortable and quiet. We loved staying at the Wishing Tree. Only wished we could stay longer
My husband and I had the best time at the Wishing Tree Cabin in Asheville! It was up a hill and tucked away so very secluded - perfect for the mountain escape we were looking for. That said, it was just a 10 minute drive into downtown Asheville where we enjoyed a beautiful dinner out one evening. It's close to many grocery stores (and Starbucks!) so we had fun cooking at the cabin. The kitchen was stocked with great tools and a nice gas stove, and we enjoyed eating by the fireplace. The bed was very comfortable with a great view and lots of morning light. Rebecca was a great host and gave us plenty of privacy. Very clean and well maintained. Overall it was a fantastic stay. We hope to be back soon!
We came to Wishing Tree originally just to vacation, due to an accident where my husband broke his leg it became a healing retreat. Rebecca worked with us as we had to change our dates at the last minute and was very understanding. The directions were great, the cabin beyond what we were hoping for. Everything we could need and even the discount card for the nearby grocery store was waiting for us. I wish I could make a suggestion for improvement but can't think of a thing. Very comfortable bed room with huge closet and laundry, gas fireplace, well equipped kitchen, easy parking and even on crutches my husband had no problem with access. We love the Asheville area and we're glad to be there for leaf peeping time, found plenty of restaurants and lovely drives nearby. We will be back!
We stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful relaxing time. Rebecca was great to rent from and her personal touches to the cabin made us feel right at home. We didn't want to leave! Location is prime with close access to Asheville and major highways, central location to two major National Forests, and private and quiet. We will be back!
We loved this place! The location was perfect and easy access to everything. We would stay here again in a heart beat and will recommend to friends and family!!!:):):)
I deeply appreciate the beautiful time I had in your delightful, peaceful cabin... thank you for creating such a perfect space for me to relax and flow in inspiration, surrounded by nature within harmonious design. Everything about my stay was perfect! I look forward to the next time.
I enjoyed my stay in the Wishing Tree Cabin. If you want peace, quiet, and proximity to Asheville, this is the place for you to stay. The cabin is clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with all of the necessary essentials. The washer, dryer, and the walk in closet are extras that I appreciated.
Rebecca and Wann were both gracious hosts, and since they live in a cabin on the same property, they are available for any unexpected emergencies.
I am looking forward to a return visit.
