We spent a long week -end Hiking the trails on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin was the perfect location for access to restaurants in Asheville and then hiking during the day. Rebecca recommended a hike along the Larel River and then we rented Hot Tub ( # 5) at nearby Hot Springs. We had a fantastic vacation. The cabin was very clean ,comfortable and quiet. We loved staying at the Wishing Tree. Only wished we could stay longer
We loved this place! The location was perfect and easy access to everything. We would stay here again in a heart beat and will recommend to friends and family!!!:):):)
This place is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Yes there are other houses near it, etc, but it is really a nice cozy little cabin for a romantic getaway. The area behind the cabin is a peaceful zen garden kind of thing. Overall exactly what we were looking for.
We had a wonderful time here! Sometimes you see these cabins in the pictures but then in real-life they are right next to other cabins. This was not at all. Very private and secluded but still close to the amenities and sites of Asheville! Cozy, comfortable and a perfect stay for 1-3 people. We'd book this again in a heartbeat.
This cottage is rustic with very cute touches. Very quiet considering the location. We reside in rural Pa. and this cottage so reminded me of our area. Bed very comfy, kitchen clean. I would have liked paper towels and storage bags or containers for leftover food. We would return. Barbara McRath
This is our second time staying at the Wishing Tree and it was as lovely as the first. Comfy bed, great shower and a lovely selection of teas to cozy up with next to the fire.
Hiking the 100s of miles of trails near - by. Browse dozens of art galleries, check out the live theater and symphony. Enjoy" Mountain Music" at the free event , Shindig on the Green. Leaf looking. River rafting and oh yes THE FOOD, ! Ps...Beer City USA
