I design/build furniture, installations, and art. In this case, I designed/restored/renovated a dilapidated factory over the course of the past 18 months with a small team. It was a major undertaking, but worth saving a piece of Chicago history. The majority of the build out was done with reclaimed materials from reclaimed wood for the ceiling, to original Chicago brick for the structural repairs and additions. The kitchen was built with salvaged laboratory cabinets. All metalwork was done with recycled material from another warehouse and even the light fixtures are vintage/reclaimed. You will see a lot of my smaller projects in this loft from lights and sculptures to paintings.

This is a truly unique historical venue in Chicago with modern amenities. It is set in a quaint neighborhood, but provides the space and aesthetic for all varieties of production.
Commercial overhead door accesses street. Ground level building makes moving equipment, sets, etc. a breeze. Outstanding natural light and blackout blinds for full range of lighting control.
