About Elizabeth Fulton

My husband and I are retired expats from California living in Mexico. We have a house in San Miguel de Allende the central mountains and one in Barra de Potosi at the beach.

In both places we like living near a commercial and cultural center but not in it,

Elizabeth Fulton purchased this house in 2014

Why Elizabeth Fulton chose Mexico

In our homes we like to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of the surrounding area. We can set our own pace and participate in the livelihood of those around us as we see fit.

What makes this house unique

This is a truly unique spot on the Pacific coast of Mexico.

The geography allows some protection against storms from the south with lower waves and warm water A fresh water lagoon provides another environment close by with opportunities for birding and fishing and kayaking.

My wife and I have rented vacation homes in Costa Rica, Panama, and all over the Mexican Rivera. This might be the very best.

The location is amazing right on a very quiet beach. The pool was new and clean and the house is very well kept.Tito and Carmen the caretakers made you feel very welcome and

extremely safe. This is a great area the people are amazing. Do go buy the commercial store in zihuatanejo do a grocery run before you arrive or soon after.

Their are restaurants in town and on the beach if you don't want to cook.

And some convince stores in Barra that have the basics.

Overall a outstanding place to stay.

Thank you again Liz!!

This property is truly beach living at its best. The house is very spacious and clean and very well equipped including Internet. The bedroom has AC but we never used it, preferring to sleep with the screens closed listening to the waves crashing onto the beach just a few steps away. The pool is a nice size and very well maintained and the beach is beautiful and virtually deserted, we could walk for an hour some mornings and not pass another person. The caretakers of the property Tito and Carmen were exceptional, Carmen keeping the house spotless and Tito keeping the grounds perfect. Tito even acted as a taxi driver several times for us. If staying in Barra I would suggest taking a trip into Zihuatanejo to stock up on groceries as the small town has a very limited selection in the store and no bank machine. This is a wonderful spot to truly get away from it all.

Wonderful.

My wife and I had a marvellous week at Beach House. A large house directly on the beach, very well-kept with full usual accommodations and very nice decorate. It's a real pleasure to stay in but it's also a real pleasure when going out and reach the pool situated on the patio and, over the pool, the large and very clean beach.I do mention the kindness of Tito, the guardian of the site. Living on place, he and his wife Carmen take care of all promptly and always smiling. And they can cook mexican food if you whish. We had tried a fish grilled on BBQ. Absolutely delicious. Last remark: if you go there without a car, be sure sure that you first do a large grocery near the airport because Barra de Potosi, few minutes walking from the house, is a charming fishers village have but no real grocery.

If I resume, Beach House is plus that a nice place on the beach. Its a lovely place. I recommend it to everybody looking for nature, tranquillity and very good people.
