I have a large one room cabin in my front yard that I am "rehabbing" to a unique little hunting/fishing cabin or just get away from busy city life and have access to my house for showers, other "modern" things you may need access to during your stay.
The cabin on 30 acres of woods, the Zumbro River, a little slice of heaven I have out here. Any hunters dream since my land is crawling with deer, turkey and other wildlife. 20+ apple trees (the deer regularly come to eat from) berries, grapevines, asparagus and access to a ridiculously large vegetable garden
This is a "work in progress" so definitely not 4 star accommodations in the cabin... But a unique way to get away and "camp". As I update the cabin I will post pictures. There is a queen size bed and two couches with pull out beds available to sleep on in the shack. Microwave, radio, as basics to the cabin. Will add things as time goes on! So since this is a " work in progress " for now if you are staying in the cabin and for whatever reason (I won't take it personally) you aren't comfortable with the accommodations in the cabin you can stay in one of the spare rooms in my house (there are bad storms here I would not want you in the cabin during one of them!)
I am so fencing off most of the land for you may see a few cows roaming around....
RN at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Grew up in Wisconsin on a dairy farm with 7 siblings, I can to get along with just about anyone! I love cheese :)Very spontaneous, bubbly, full of energy, sarcasm and wittiness, like to meet new people and see new places. I love doing home improvement a bit of a Martha Stewart/Bob Vila in I don't have Martha's felony convictions and Bob Vila's penis.
I love roadtrips, gardening, home improvement projects, fixing things that are broken (humans and machines) working with powertools, zombie and any sort of end-of-the-world/Apocalypse movies. Lately been addicted to watching TED talks and listening to NPR and a podcast "How To Do Everything". I might be a nerd?
Personal philosophy: Life is busy living or get busy dying. Yes that is a quote from "Shawshank Redemption." I am a nurse and see how short life is everyday I work.
