This private house is located in a historic neighborhood in downtown Puyallup. We are just one mile from The Washington State Fairgrounds and within walking distance to restaurants, stores, parks, the Meeker Mansion and Karshner Museum. We are also a block away from the Riverwalk recreational trail. The house is a charming 1930's house with a fully fenced large, private yard. The main level of the house has two bedrooms, one with a Nest Bedding firm queen sized bed and one with a green tea, aloe gel infused memory foam full sized bed. The upstairs has matching twin sized beds with super comfortable mattresses. The kitchen is stocked full of basic necessities. The home has retained her original vintage charm with updates in all of the right places. Our goal is for you to be comfortable and feel like you are right at home. In June 2015 the house was updated with a fresh coat of paint inside and out, all new furniture, mattresses, linens and kitchen accessories. We recently added a new propane outdoor grill and a Keurig coffee maker with a huge selection of coffee, teas and cocoa.
We live just a couple of minutes up the hill from here. We own a small farm where we rescue sick or neglected animals. We have helped goats, chickens, ducks, dogs and cats. We enjoy traveling, but with so many animals my husband and I have to take turns vacationing.
This house is filled with charm in a quiet neighborhood. It is a great, central location.
Lisa was a great host and provided my family and I an awesome place to stay for the holidays. The house was decorated beautifully and everything was clean and tidy. It was a great price for the length of stay, 17 days, and very spacious for my family of 4. The beds were extremely comfortable and nothing like a typical hotel or rental would have. I would recommend this to all types of vacationers.
This property was perfect for our week stay in Bonneylake visiting family. Very vintage and quaint. Would recommend for families.
Lisa is a great host. The house was kept nicely and when we needed anything she was quick to respond. Thanks for the great stay!
My family and I had a wonderful stay at this home. The beds were very comfortable with lots of linen, blankets and plenty of towels in the bathroom. I loved the welcome bathroom amenity basket, the welcome mints in the living room area and a small basket of snacks in the kitchen. House was clean with a huge backyard area. It is an older house with lots of character. It was great with the 3 bedrooms, with twin beds in the roof area. The only difficulty we had was one bathroom, and with 3 females and 1 male, we had to set up a schedule for bathing. Cute kitchen with Laundry room downstairs was great. I would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage in Puyallup. We were very comfortable. There is plenty of room with 3 nice sized bedrooms. The owner has gone to great lengths to provide everything you will need to have an enjoyable stay.
This house is a hidden gem! The furnishings are luxurious. The owner provides the best brands of quality kitchenware, mattresses and toiletries. She left us some treats and beverages. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. We were able to walk to restaurants and a couple of great parks. Puyallup has a great farmers market and a splash park for the kids. We had a great vacation and our host was so sweet and helpful. I have already made an additional reservation here.
This is a great central location. We can get to a nice, sandy beach in 10 miles, a beautiful lush forest with hiking trails in 15 and are just a couple miles from your choice of a few lakes. We are within walking distance to the Sounder, which is a great commuter train and the commuter bus stop is at the end of our street. If you want something to occupy more of your time, I highly recommend spending a day in Seattle enjoying the Pike Place Market, the Space Needle and the waterfront. Another great day trip would be Mt Rainier. The picturesque drive up there is half the fun! We are also a few miles from Wild Waves. It is a very popular water park with tons of rides.

I don't charge a cleaning fee with the expectation that you will return the house reasonably tidy. This usually works out really well. If you don't wish to clean, we have a housekeeper available for $175 each visit, up to four hours. If the house is returned with damages, excessive amounts of cleaning or missing items may result in me keeping your deposit or making a claim against your travel insurance.
