Perfect for a long weekend for 2!

  • 5 of 5

This was close to the beach and we used the bus stop to get into Providencetown. Very relaxing. Everything was clean and worked. Good shower for a small cottage was a bonus!

Cozy Cape Cod Vacation

  • 4 of 5

Loved this little cottage for two. Ocean views from the front windows & beach access just across the street. The bed is very comfortable. The kitchenette had everything we needed. Close to Ptown & a bus comes by regularly to take you to town. You can do paid parking in town too - but space is limited & the rates vary. We had scheduled a whale watch but it was cancelled due rough seas & incoming storm. This rental is close to many sight seeing adventures & national seashore beaches.

Laura made it very easy to book & was responsive with our concerns about Hurricane Jose. Hope to visit again next year!

the cabin was fine. The beach was lousy. I didn't like walking between cabins to get to beach,

I was not given instructions on how to get into the cottage so got in rather late as I had to get in touch with Laura Kittery. The cottage itself was fine , cute and had everything needed. Could not figure out how to set up the grill and did not like the beach at all. Next time will look for something mid-cape.

Owner's Response: Hi Ruth, We are really sorry that you did not find the information on the Hospitality Page about no "formal" check-in required and how to get into the cottage (so that guests can arrive at any time from 3:00 p.m. on at their own convenience). The Homeaway system does send the email invitation out several times prior to a guest's visit and sometimes folks do not take full advantage of all it has to offer them to help to make their stay with us as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. As for the beach - it's a great walking beach with fabulous views of the bay and Ptown - and many folks also enjoy swimming in the bay side water - but for those who seek something different, there is no shortage of beaches in the area - and each is different from another, offering literally every variety of beach experience within a mere 5 mile drive. We are so glad that you enjoyed the comforts of the cottage itself. We will take a look at the grill but this is the first notice we have had that someone could not figure it out. We can understand that the outer Cape is a unique area and that occasionally someone will not find it to be their ideal vacation destination. We wish you all the best for your future Cape Cod visits! Sincerely, Laura Kittery :)

Perfect Spot for Our Vacation

  • 4 of 5

Although the cottage is very small, we found it perfect for the two of us on vacation in Cape Cod. The location was probably the best part! You can easily drive to any of the public beaches during the day. But it was wonderful to come back every evening to enjoy the private beach right across the street, which was very quiet. We actually saw a red fox run right in front of us across the beach one night. And on another evening we had a seal visitor who kept popping up out of the water! The sunsets from this beach are also AMAZING.

Provincetown is also only 10 minutes away, and you can easily catch the shuttle right from your doorstep! It will even drop you off right back at the cottage if you tell the driver. I would recommend spending at least one afternoon here exploring the shops, bars and restaurants.

I just wanted to mention that guests are required to bring their own sheet and towels. I do not see this on the main booking page. It was however listed on the Home Away app page emailed to us after we had booked, but unfortunately I didn't download this app until after we had arrived. Luckily the owner was willing to drop off sheets and towels right away!

I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone coming to Cape Cod, and we hope to be back!

Cute little cottage!

  • 5 of 5

This little cottage was perfect for our 3 night stay with our 9 month old daughter. Quick drive to Provincetown and to Race Point beach. The beach at the cottage was right across the street but not a great option for us as the beach itself was on a bit of a hill so that made it a bit difficult with our baby. Other than that, we loved it!

Awesome studio full of warmth and character.

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in unit 21 for our three night stay on the cape and loved the cottage. The location is in a perfect spot to get into Ptown quickly. The breeze from the ocean through the windows was incredible and the morning sun shone through the front windows in a picturesque fashion. I would recommend this spot to any couple.
