Our 1830's farmhouse sits well off Rt. 100 and abuts the Green Mountain National Forest. We are surrounded by farmland and enjoy a beautiful valley view. Our home has been updated over the years to include all modern amenities and much more. The extra large living room leads into a beautiful modern kitchen and dining room that seats ten. Two staircases lead you upstairs where there are two sitting rooms nestled among the five bedrooms which have large windows with wonderful views. There are 3 fulls, 1 queen, and 2 twin beds. There are three full bathrooms, one with a 7 ft. long claw-foot tub. Wander back downstairs and spend time in the inviting library or in the den with its much- loved baby grand piano. We have satellite TV and speedy wifi. Our wrap-around front porch is a wonderful place to enjoy your coffee and the morning sun.
The back patio has numerous places to sit and eat outside, and there are lots of trees throughout the yard that offer shade and solitude for reading or napping. There are five acres of lawn with stone walkways found among the dozen flower gardens. Throughout the summer you can enjoy eating from our prolific vegetable gardens. There are so many things to do outside, including: croquet, horseshoes, Frisbee, or walking around while you play golf at "The Willow’s", a 6-hole par-3 hobby golf course right in the back yard! You can take a short walk up the driveway to the White River where you can wade, swim, or go tubing. At night you can enjoy either intimate campfires or large bonfires while looking at the vast array of stars unhampered by any city lights.
We are close to town, on a semi-private road a short stroll from the White River. Come home from a tour of our beautiful state, or spend the day being entertained right at the house and sit by the fire (inside or outside), watch TV, play games and unwind.
