Loved this house.

Great outdoor entertainment space and a yard with fruit trees. Located not far from historic north shore. Very well equipped home, the owners thought of everything you could need. I would tent this home again.

Exactly what we needed

  • 4 of 5

This property was great! My family went to visit my sister in law so we all stayed in this house which was great! The kitchen is huge and stocked with the essentials for cooking. All of the rooms were a great size and very comfortable. The best part about this house was the backyard!! It is fully fenced- great for kids! and the gazebo area was incredible! We played board games out there everynight! The cute little pasty shop just a 2 minute walk away was a great find too. The only reason I dont give this house a 5 star rating is the lack of vacuum cleaner and first aid kit. We were at the beach everyday and that comes with a ton of sand! We did our best to sweep it away with the broom they provided, but a vacuum cleaner would have been much nicer, especially with kids. With our beach adventures came injuries and it would have been nice to treat those with a first aid kit they had, however we had to go out and buy all of the band aids and ointment. Maybe provide the first aid kit and ask that whatever is used (bandaids, etc) get replaced at the end of the stay? Other than that, it was perfect! We thank the owners so much for allowing us to stay there. - Samantha

Very good location and large enough for all of us

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed staying at this home. We were in Hawaii to attend the wedding of our son and daughter-in-law in Waikiki. It was quite a long drive to get there, but Haleiwa is very laid back and the house was close to north shore activities and dining. We invited our daughter-in-law's family over for a BBQ and enjoyed using the outdoor covered patio. The property manager delivered a brand new charcoal Weber barbeque early in our stay.

We found that the kitchen could use more lighting, especially under-the-counter lighting would be very helpful. When it is dark outside it is very dim in the kitchen area.

It seems that the home had recently undergone a major renovation, so most everything was relatively new. The walls are a bit bare and could use some additional pictures, etc.

We would definitely consider staying at this home again in the future.

Your Own Oasis in Paradise

  • 5 of 5

This house is as advertised and more. It is actually bigger than it appears in the pictures. It is immaculate and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, glassware, pots and pans. The bakery really is across the street and we visited it frequently during our visit. The five of us (all adults) had plenty of room. The house is also in a great location to easily get back down to Honolulu and quickly to all the surrounding beautiful beaches and the Dole Plantation. You have plenty of privacy at the house both inside and outside. Every morning and evening during our visit we were outside enjoying the patio. The landlord was great about communicating with me during the booking, before our arrival and upon our departure. We highly recommend staying at this house.

Clean, well-managed, great location

  • 5 of 5

This was our first experience with a "private rental" and I will say it was a great experience. The managers were tremendously responsive to our needs, and a personal visit to remedy a chirping smoke detector was extremely appreciated. We knew if we had any issue, they were only a text or call away.

The house itself is a relatively new renovation. The mini-split AC in each bedroom was great since we all like to sleep at different temperatures. The outside seating was great for quiet times. The wifi worked well. Definitely heed the warning about the gate and toes. For our family of 7, it was perfect.

The location of the house is convenient and secure. We were there during New Year's, so we had a lot of local fireworks. Other than that, it is relatively quiet. The bakery and store next door are convenient and a bonus. The town of Haleiwa is just down the street and provides the right balance of small town and conveniences. We used Surf-n-Sea for our watersport rental needs. They were awesome! Travel to the other side of the island was not difficult, so having the quiet base of operations was better than staying in the more populated areas of the island.

We can definitely recommend staying here, and if we return to Oahu, we would stay there again. Many thanks to Shawn and Jessica!

New, spacious and comfortable.

  • 5 of 5

The property is new, modern, spacious and very comfortable with three bathrooms. Two bedrooms have double beds and two bedrooms can be configured with single or double beds. Parking for two inside the gate and parking for one on the street if necessary. The gazebo is a nice touch to sit outside when it rains and to watch the chickens that roam the yard. Everything was about thirty minutes away - skydiving, snorkeling, hikes, waterfalls, different beaches, and the airport. There is a neighborhood convenience store, a great local bakery and a unique thrift store two minutes away on the corner. Very good location with friendly neighbors. Be sure to look for Sam the parrot around dinnertime on his daily walk. Easy check in and out and had no problems during the stay.

I would recommend the property without hesitation.
