fantastic

3 families from 3 different areas met at this beautiful cabin for an amazing family get together. The cabin is beautiful, clean and very comfortable. It is a perfect set up multiple families. We each had our own area and the common area was great for family meals and family time. The location is great, no-one around and close to the lake and town. Highly reccomend.

Amazing

  • 5 of 5

Cant beat the location. Very convenient to many activities , restaurants, hiking and shopping. There is a great, large grocery store just minutes away. We were looking for a quiet private spot and this was it. The location was perfect for all of us. We had three families from three different locations meeting at the cabin. Nine of us in all. We read all the reviews before we booked this cabin and almost changed our mind. So glad we did not. We had 3 cars parked up the hill next to the front door. This cabin is on a hill but it is a wide cement driveway and very easy to navigate. We appreciated being in the mountains and were not expecting the same flat landscape we have in Florida. The cabin was clean, everything worked, we had the owners phone number just in case of any problems. We were very impressed. Exactly as described, maybe better.

Beautiful cabin!

  • 5 of 5

I completely enjoyed our stay at the Sandpiper Too. The scenery was Beautiful! The house and amenities were wonderful! Beautifully decorated with spacious rooms. Definitely felt very welcoming! My only regret is that the weather was too cold to allow us to enjoy sitting on the very large and inviting deck. Definitely will keep in mind for future trips!

Cabin was perfect in every way for our family. Beautiful cabin and very homey. Great location centrally located to many areas. We enjoyed Chimney Rock one day, Asheville the next day and then a day of snow activities at Sugar Mountain.

Information given on the site was very misleading.

  • 3 of 5

This is a beautiful cabin and I would recommend this cabin to a party of only 6, NOT 12 unless 2 were willing to sleep on the living room couch (it is not s sleeper sofa) and chaise there is room to sleep 10, there are 3 bed rooms and a game room, only 3 queen beds, 1 sleeper sofa and a twin bunk bed. The dining area will only seat 6 not 8 and is not comfortable its bar height with 4 bar stools and 2 arm chairs. The living room is small only seats 7, the kitchen is small room for 1 to cook and was only supplied with one pod for the dishwasher but did have liquid dawn to hand wash.

The drive way was very steep and had to have some speed to climb it. And the parking area will only fit 2 mid size cars not 4.

It has no view or easy access to the lake but it is on a hillside with a beautiful wooded view if your not afraid of heights.

I would not recommend this place if anyone has any issues climbing stairs (they are steep) or any back issues (furniture is not that comfortable).

My bed was not comfortable, felt like a cheap bed and the sheets were cheap, I thought it was dirty but it was the beading of the sheets. The rest of the family said they were fine and rested fine.

It is pet friendly so if you are allergic this cabin is not for you, the living room blankets, one in particular, was full of white dog hair.

Cell phone reception is poor and there is no WIFI.

Despite it all we had a good time.
