We are small business owners with a couple of big dogs. We have two sons (twins) who both have wonderful wives and one precious grandson. We love spending time relaxing, singing and playing music, antiquing, and restoring the old! Thank you for using our blessing of a home. God Bless and enjoy!
Huck and Tammie purchased this house in 2011
We love to jog around our very safe and well lit neighborhood. We also love to stroll from our house to Bath House Row ( only 3 blocks) and enjoy the shops, restaurants and views. We love our large family room that we can all relax in and look out the huge windows to see the beautiful mountains. Shopping in the historic downtown and the malls and stores of Hot Springs is always a must. The flea markets and antique stores are some of the many establishments that makes Hot Springs so unique.
There were 4 couples in our group. We stayed 4 nights at this beautiful spacious home. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom which was very convenient. Although there was ample room to sit around and visit we chose to sit outside at the side yard.
It was a pleasant surprise to find that all 8 of us could take showers and the water was still hot.
The home is located close to downtown, restaurants and grocery stores and shopping.
When we went for our morning walk, the neighborhood was beautiful!! The historic homes were all meticulously maintained. We were lucky enough to be there when the dogwoods and azaleas were in bloom.
We greatly enjoyed Hot Springs and the home on Prospect.
We only had to call with questions 2 times. Huck was readily available both times. In fact before we even arrived I spoke with Huck a couple of times. You could not ask for a nicer person to deal with.
We would for sure love to stay in this home again should we return to visit Hot Springs.
Our son was married in Hot Springs and we needed a facility that could accommodate adults and a toddler comfortably and was also conveniently located to various venues. Prospect Secret fit that bill perfectly! For some reason we could not connect to the internet on our first day but we could on the second and stayed connected. We blew a breaker with a hair dryer but after we contacted Huck, he told us where the box was located. Since it is a historic home and that could happen if several people are trying to get ready at the same time, maybe providing that location information to the breakers up front could have saved some time on our end. It worked out fine this time. There are stairs so if you have small children and that bothers you, take note.
Our family was only able to spend 2 nights in the wonderful Hot Springs home. The house has beautiful antique furniture thru out, brought back memories of staying at Grandma's house. Great place to relax and catch up with each other.
We spent a week with our family of five and another family of four at Huck and Tammy's beautiful Hot Springs home. The house was perfect for our needs and the large living space allowed the five kids plenty of room to run around, race cars on the floor, and have an epic balloon battle. Many a bubble gave their lives in the rousing games of Battle Bubbles played on the side deck and many a glass of wine gave their lives as the four adults decompressed after the kids were in bed. The Alligator Farm, Duck Tour, and Mid America Science Museum provided kid friendly daily activities and the quaint Central Avenue shops (read Homemade Ice Cream) provided afternoon family time. Thank you for wonderful memories!
Our extended family had the most wonderful family reunion while staying in this home. It was perfect in every way, i.e., spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated with an extremely well stocked kitchen for both cooking and serving. We definitely look forward to returning. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom was perfect for our eldest family member who would had have a challenge with stairs.
