We are small business owners with a couple of big dogs. We have twin sons, wonderful daughters-in-law and three precious grand children. We love spending time relaxing, singing and playing music, antiquing, and restoring the old! Thank you for using our blessing of a home. God Bless and enjoy!
Huck and Tammie purchased this house in 2011
We fell in love with this house the first time we saw it. We love to walk through the historic district and down bath house row and enjoy the many restaurants, shops and see the actual "hot" springs!
We love to jog around our very safe and well lit neighborhood. We also love to stroll from our house to Bath House Row ( only 3 blocks) and enjoy the shops, restaurants and views. We love our large family room that we can all relax in and look out the huge windows to see the beautiful mountains. Shopping in the historic downtown and the malls and stores of Hot Springs is always a must. The flea markets and antique stores are some of the many establishments that makes Hot Springs so unique.
There were 7 ladies and we all thoroughly enjoyed this house. It was so spacious and beautiful on the inside and outside. The owners were very helpful and responsive. We spent a weekend here and I really didn't want to leave. I would recommend this house for big groups or anyone who wants plenty of room. It is close enough to walk to Central and shop and walk back. It is also a short drive from everything else.
We were so impressed...we had never used VRBO before so we were a little leery about what we would find. But it couldn't have been a better experience. We were a group of 4 couples who have been friends for many years. We decided to try to find a home we could all stay in rather than use hotel rooms as we have over the years. It was wonderful to have us all together so we could visit, eat meals together and spend the evenings playing cards. This is an old historic home that is beautifully decorated and the owners were wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to spend time in a centrally located house that has all the amenities and ambiance. We will definitely return.
Easy, relaxed experience. Had everything our group needed.
Ideal space for four couples. Very clean!
Our family enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! We have stayed in many VRBO's. This home is warm the minute you walk in the door! It is well maintained, super clean and furnished with anything you may need for your stay and more. Short walk to bath house row as well as cute little boutiques in the same area. We visited the Hot Springs Mountain Tower and Garvan Woodland Gardens. Huck and Tammie are amazing home owners! We had a great time in Hot Springs celebrating Christmas with our family! Can't wait to go back soon on a girls weekend!
What a beautiful home in a historic district only blocks from Central Ave & Bathhouse Row. We were 8 persons representing two families who wanted space to relax and visit/catch-up, but be close enough to the sights to pop in and out as wanted. The home was beautiful, very clean and spacious, and we especially enjoyed having the Christmas decorations up as it helped us transition to the season. Bedrooms were large, all 4 beds reported as very comfy. Bathrooms were spotless. We prepared our Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen, and easily fit around the large dining room table to enjoy it in the very pretty family/dining room. Hot Springs was a great town to visit, easily navigated and plenty to do. The free public parking garage just down the street and left on Exchange was helpful as it was located smack in the middle of Bathhouse Row for those not wishing to enjoy the short walk down there. Start with the hour or so tour of Fordyce Bathhouse, now the National Park HQ. It will help make all the spa scene make sense. Buckstaff Bathhouse was like stepping back in time, the spa routine completely enjoyable and took only about 90 minutes from walk in to walk out and super nice staff; try it! Superior Bathhouse is now a great micro-brewer with 18 of their own beers on tap and very good food. We did one of the escape rooms, also a super-fun family activity all will enjoy and participate in. West Mountain Scenic Drive and trails start just down the street, don't miss. Walking the Grand Promenade then hiking up to the tower another wonderful experience. So with this home you can stay busy doing things, but still have lots of family time in the house relaxing, visiting and playing games. The kids especially loved the house…it was hard to drag them out of it! Highly recommended!
