About Susie Wells

My husband Gary and I met in Brevard 30 years ago. We have been renovating homes in and around Brevard for the last 23 years. We both enjoy bringing back to life homes that have been neglected and somewhat 'remuddled' This one has heart and the benefit of being walking distance to the wonderful town of Brevard.

Susie Wells purchased this bungalow in 1995

Why Susie Wells chose Brevard

This wonderful little home is a true pleasure! It is tucked back from the road, on a lovely street, off the beaten path. The floor plan is a bit unusual: Living, Bedroom and Full Bath are on entry level. Kitchen, Dining, Laundry, Full bath, Porch and Deck are Downstairs. Kitchen is totally renovated! Lots of Charm!

What makes this bungalow unique

Quiet neighborhood, lots of character and walking distance to town.

Quiet and private while also convenient to town.

  • 5 of 5

There isn't anything I would change about this property...it was perfect. I've stayed in several different listings in Brevard over the years, and this is by far my favorite. It's clean, comfortable, and adorable! I walked to town easily and enjoyed the private deck. I'll be back for sure!

Great rental in a charming area.

  • 4 of 5

Great rental that has the 4 C’s that are critical for me to give a good review. Clean, Comfortable, Cozy and Convenient....and this little cottage has them all. Within walking distance to the charming downtown, great restaurants. Has an unusual configuration but it didn’t bother us. We will definitely rent again if the siatuion arises.

Cozy and Comfortable!

  • 5 of 5

We loved this bungalow! It was very clean, comfortable, cozy, and well stocked with everything we needed! It is on a quiet little street close to downtown Brevard. It was a perfect end to our road trip on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We would definitely like to stay here again.

Loved our stay

  • 5 of 5

The house is perfect, clean, well stocked and close to town. Everyday we'd walk shopping, gallery viewing or into town for a glass of wines or dinner. Saw white squirrels every day. Susie, our host was great. Hope to go back.
