Red Rock Sunrise is an Incredible Mountain Vacation Retreat perched high up on Young's Mountain yet only a few minutes to Rumbling Bald Resort and all that Lake Lure and the surrounding areas have to offer. Home is super spacious and inviting and offers resort amenities at Rumbling Bald Resort, such as indoor and outdoor pool, beach, putt putt golf, lazy river, 2-18 hole golf courses, pro shop, restaurant's and more! The first level of this Beautiful Home has a fully functional kitchen, an adjacent dining area with the best views that you can imagine, a very large living room with cathedral ceilings and a wall of glass overlooking the mountains, a wood burning fireplace, and comfortable furnishings, all surrounded by breathtaking views. From the living room step out onto a large deck that runs the entire length of the home. Upstairs you'll find a balcony overlooking the living room below and the mountains beyond. The main level offers a large bedroom with King size bed, upper level has another large room with a King size bed and a bedroom with Day Bed and Trundle. The lower level has a bedroom with Queen size bed.

This is a perfect vacation home! Plus western North Carolina offers a number of entertainment and activity options as well as some of the most beautiful views you will ever see.

$45.00 Accidental Damage Protection - (Accidental Damage protection is included for any damages or accidents, subject to exclusions and limitations that occur to the premises during your rental period up to $1500. Any damages or accident that is not covered under the policy will be the responsibility of the leaseholder.)

$120.00 Cleaning Fee

5% Rutherford County Occupancy Tax

6.75% NC State Sales Tax

Cancelation/Transfer Policy:

If a confirmed reservation is canceled or transferred, a processing fee of $50.00 will be charged against the Advance Confirmation Deposit. If the cancelation occurs less than 30 days prior to arrival, all funds received will be forfeited, unless the property can be re-rented for the canceled period for the full rent amount. Please allow 30 days from the date we receive your cancelation notice for any of the Advance Confirmation Deposit to be returned (applicable only if the unit was re-rented).

Georgeous Views! Old Old Home! Needs Update!!!

Georgeous View- BUT Old Home in need of lots of maintenance. Old semi functional appliances thru home- small fridge that doesn't cool well, tiny dishwasher that can't even open all the way because of the fridge location, old dirty oven & semi functioning cooktop, leaky, continually running toilets with "carpet" lined bathrooms, fair Internet connectivity & one TV in family room gets some channels with satellite, lower floor has additional bed which at nite the crawling of rodents was heard daily in the ceiling above!

Positive note- the bedding appeared clean & mattress were comfortable, garage was dirty with residual rodent damage, garage doors- one non functional & the other dry rotted. Back decks- some dry rot noted with lots of wear & tear. The "lake access" cannot be reached on foot down a path from the home. Careful with small children or anyone for that matter because the deck which is down some steep stairs from the backyard is rotten with an unsafe railing that should be immediately replaced! We didn't even walk out on the deck because it appears so unsafe. The home is in dire need of attention from the owners. Maintenance, repair, & replacement of all appliances is a must! The rodent issue must also be addressed. The views are the only reason we stayed onsite especially after our previous week's stay was at a lovely clean cabin nearby. Overpriced & Outdated!

Owner's Response: Wow! Ouch. We feel badly that you did not enjoy your time at Red Rock Sunrise but we do want to address a few items; Mainly that you didn't contact us while you were there to give us a chance to resolve issues. We would have gladly helped with anything you contacted us about. We cannot fix something if we don't know about it. We did receive a message about the oven and we sent someone over within an hour I believe. All of our homes are professionally treated by a pest control company and they would of course take care of the occasional field mouse but we have never experienced mice/rodents in this home but since you said you heard something we have sent them over just in case, so it is resolved. If you told us the toilet was running, we could have taken care of that in short order too and it is now resolved. If you told us the TV was only getting limited channels we could have contacted the satellite company for service. This home has lake access via the Rumbling Bald Resort, we NEVER advertised you could access from the property - it is on the other side of the mountain and road so there is no way anyone could expect to access the lake from the home site. Owners have discussed and we will be shopping for different appliances, removing carpet in bathroom areas, and addressing items as them come along and we will do everything we can for the comfort and enjoyment of our guests!
