The Eagle Valley Cabins is about 500 square feet and approximately 200 feet from Delaware River. The cabin has it's own fire pit. There is a picnic area and barbeque. The cabin sits on 260 feet of riverfront. The West Branch of the Delaware River is known as the best wild trout fishing east of The Rockies. We are located at the tail waters of the Cannonsville Reservoir, so the constant flow of fresh cold water makes trout fishing marvelous. The cabin boasts a covered porch, the perfect place to relax while reading a great book or observing the wildlife. The fully equipped kitchen allows for homemade meals in the privacy of your own cabin. Air-conditioning, ceiling fans and heated for winter use. If you need to call for a rush reservation on both are cabins 973-809-2124 Pat ps if you need both cabins together a special price $ 1000.00 plus 75,00 dollar cleaning fee for 6 nights
The cabin is nice. It's got everything you need to cook but some of the pots and pans are old and flacking Teflon in your food. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom and linens are very clean and plenty of hot water. The only complaint I had was a $3 charge for a garbage bag. That should come out of the price I paid for the cabin.
Location, location, location! The cabins sit right on the west branch Delaware river. You can bring your float boat or canoe and launch right on the property. If the river doesn't suit you, you can drive just down the road about a mile and hit up the Cannonsville Reservoir. The cabins are are the small side but ours was well equipped with bedding and cooking supplies. Unfortunately for us the fish weren't cooperating on the river but we did manage to catch a nice 17" Brown right by the property waterfront. Overall an enjoyable stay!
This cottage was much more then we expected. Our first stay was in July when we came to visit our son in a nearby camp. The cottage was very well cared for with comfortable beds, a wonderful air conditioner, tv and internet service. There were fresh towels and lots of hot water for showers. This setting is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. We liked it so much that we actually stayed again for a few days when we returned in August to pick our son up from camp.
This has been one of my favorite vacations ! Such a peaceful cabin. My girlfriend and I enjoyed ourselves beyond words, the Delaware is across the road so fishing was great ... And the owner pat is amazing he responds immediately via text or phone. We are already looking at days to book in August !!! 10 out of 10
My fiancé and I and my dog spent a weekend there. It was a great time. We enjoyed our stay. And are planning on going back for a full week. Pat the owner was very helpful as well.
Spent the night there for an out of town job. The biggest issue was the hot water in the shower. If thats the biggest issue it was great for me! I approve it for anyone who wants a cool little cabin in the woods for the weekend. Take your trout rod!
