Really nice cabin with gorgeous views

The cabin was great! The space & layout worked really well for our family of 5. The house was as pictured, but nicer. It was a very relaxing & peaceful stay.

We Are Repeaters!!

love this location for the cabin, amazing views from the deck, remote yet w/in 1/2 hour to gas and food, always well equipped and lots of room. Great for families - first time we brought the kids, second we went for our own couple getaway. you won't be disappointed.

This place was beautiful! Very peaceful! A great place to get away from it all!

  • 4 of 5

Overall we were extremely happy with this cabin. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable.

The only thing I would have to complain about was that the oven had a layer of grease in the bottom. It smoked when we used it. So I had to run the oven self clean, which was also smokey. The bath and shower also needed to be cleaned before use. The odor in the cabin wasn't pleasant. You may want to check on your cleaning staff.

Having said that, we still absolutely loved the place an would definitely stay there again! It is tucked away on the side of the mountain. The views are beautiful! There was plenty of space to roam around. Nice little tables to sit at, a hammock off in the trees. The deck was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the view. They also have a wonderful kennel for the dogs to stay in when we left the cabin to go places we couldn't take them.

Thank you for sharing your home!

Owner's Response: Thank you taking the time to share you experience at the cabin with us so we can continue to improve our accommodations. We do sincerely apologize for the cleaning discrepancies on the oven and shower. We strive for 5 Star housekeeping, and are surprised and disappointed to find this was not the case for your stay. As mentioned when we spoke, we would love to offer a 10% discount off a future reservation with us to help offset these inconveniences. A note to future guests: after speaking directly with this guest, it appears the 'unpleasant odor' mentioned at the cabin seems to be localized to the game room area. Rubber flooring mats were recently installed in the game room, and seem to be causing a bit of a unique scent. We will continue to work and see what can be done to eradicate this for our future guests.

Beautiful Piece of Heaven

  • 5 of 5

We couldn't have picked a better place to stay for a few days during our trip. The cabin views leave you breathless and there are seating areas all over to take in the peace and serenity it offers. Sit back & soak it up.

Cripple Creek is interesting for sure, but not much to do for a family in this area at all. We found ourselves driving to other destinations and returning home to take on the kids in ping pong and foosball. We will keep this property in our favorites so when it's just the two of us, we'll return.

Best Vacation in years!

  • 5 of 5

We had the most amazing time staying in your cabin. Not to mention the limitless fun things to do

In surrounding areas, Cripple Creek, Pikes Peak, Zip lining, Royal Gorge Train, Gold mines, to name a few. At the end of each Adventure day, it was the best to get back to the cabin for the evening. The views ever changing and on 2nd day A heard of deer walked down mountain in front of cabin! At least 8, maybe more! The weather was so nice and cool, coming from Florida in August, the mountain air was a great Change. The cabin had everything we could have wished for. The Big flat screen was great to watch Olymics on, and we grilled out on porch several times.Loved the isolation of the cabin, and the drive up to the place!

Thank you Mike and Maggie for such a great rental experience!

Best Regards,

Jay
