This retro-style Greenlake Apartment is a 2 story one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and sleeper sofa downstairs, sleeping a total of 3 guests. The apartment is part of a craftsman home in the heart of Greenlake. A small kitchenette has a microwave, small ref., coffee maker,toaster and dishes and silverware.

This fantastic location puts you close to everything Seattle. There are plenty of restaurants in the area, including the Greenlake Bar & Grill, Fix Coffeehouse, Zoeyogurt, Rosita’s Mexican Grill, Lucia's Italian and many more around the lake. Little Red Hen, a bar which is just 15 minutes away on foot, has live country music shows regularly. You can also walk to East Green Lake Beach, the perfect spot for an afternoon stroll and a picnic! PCC Natural Markets and Whole Foods are also both within walking distance. Just half a block away from the apartment is a Metro bus line that can take you directly downtown thru the Fremont and South Lake Union districts.

Our home has an electronic lock or lockbox located on or near the entrance. Before and during your stay, you will have access to our mobile-friendly House Manual that contains check-in instructions, access instructions, amenity details, FAQs, and a reporting tool for maintenance requests. The codes needed to enter the property are available 48 hours prior to check-in in our online house manual.

Please remember that you will be staying in a home, not a hotel. Therefore, we ask that you treat our space with the same respect you would show your own. We travel often and have help managing guest services for our home while we are away.

Somewhat comfortable but with problems

This is a bit misleading because we could hear the people in the house that is attached to this unit. We thought we'd have privacy.

You also are not allowed to have visitors which is unfortunate.

During our stay the owner just walked into our unit without warning or even a knock. They just proceeded to introduce themselves without regard to our privacy! My wife was startled at a stranger in our place.

They also require you to wash dishes but there is no sink and they don't leave you a sponge for the trouble. The coffee wasn't stocked with enough caffeinated brew.

Otherwise it's cute and cozy albeit cluttered.

It's about 6 blocks from restaurant and businesses.

Cozy and Comfortable

This was our second stay here, this time in winter. The gas stove kept the place quite warm despite the record cold weather. We always find it very welcoming and relaxing to stay here. Pillow (the booking agency) was very responsive to our questions and made sure they were answered to our satisfaction. We loved being able to walk down the hill a few blocks to The Dish for breakfast or pick up some baked goods at Lulus. We also enjoy the neighbor bar, the Latona Pub which offers good reasonable meals and drinks in a friendly atmosphere. Tangletown which is just a few blocks further away also offers many good eating choices.

very crowded for 3

When we first checked in, it was late afternoon, (well past the 3pm check in time), The entrance was very nice. The unit was very clean. but we were quick to realise that we had little space for our three suitcases and food that we purchased.

We thought we would have a nap prior to going out to the ball game, but the barking dog in the adjoining unit crashed those plans. Luckily, the Pillow team contacted the owner and she arrived a short time later to remove the dog. Good thing she arrived as there was little toilet paper in the bathroom.

When I searched for accommodations, I specifically looked for something that will accommodate 3 adults. This property was recommended for 3 people. The unit was very cramped for 3 adults, with no where to put your bags. and the kitchen table was useless to us as it was very small and had numerous items on it. There were items of décor and pamphlets on everything. Yes, it is nice to have info pamphlets and deco items are nice, but we needed counter space to put our own things on. Pulling out the sofa bed took up any needed space in the living room. And when we did pull out the sofa bed, we found the mattress to be stained and had other foreign objects on it. (sorry but this site will not allow me to post pictures) And when I asked about the sheets for the sofa bed, I was told by the owner when she said the sheets were in a plastic bag that was tied up on top of a basket... like I was to know. Again, thankfully the Pillow team addressed the mattress issue and we had a clean mattress pad put on the bed the next day. The bed upstairs was ok. As most people, we enjoy a good cup of coffee first thing in the morning. When I tried to make coffee in the Keurig machine, it was broken and would not work. Again, I called Pillow and they contacted the owner who had to come to the property to replace the coffee maker.

I know that the description of the room says that it has a microwave and a toaster, again, my fault that I assumed that it would have a cooking stove or a hot plate, it does not. Nor does it have a proper sink or running water. They ask you to wash your dishes.... that would be in the bathroom, upstairs, in a very small sink.

As for the Pillow team that manages the property, they are very good, they care about the property you are in and take care of issues as soon as they possibly can.

Adorable, full of character, and very conveniently located to everything!

We really enjoyed the Greenlake pad! Everything we needed was there, and we were very comfortable. About the only thing we can suggest is to supply a few pillows that aren't feather-filled for future guests who might not prefer that pillow style.

Very nice property with easy access, garden entrance, clean, well maintained and nicely decorated.

We found this apartment attractive, and to easy to get to from the freeway. Street parking was no problem. There was always a nearby open space. Access to Greenlake and surrounds is easy as is freeway access to the rest of the city.

It was a little inconvenient that the only sink is upstairs in the bathroom and a trash can downstairs near the refrigerator and microwave would be a nice addition.

We didn't get to interact with the home owner much because she was out of town most of the time we were there. When we did meet here she was very friendly and concerned for our comfort. We enjoyed our stay and will look for availability of this property each time we travel to the area in the future.

I definitely recommend this property if you want to be near the University of Washington during your stay.

Bright and cheery

This place is very bright and cheery. We felt comfortable as soon as we arrived. It was perfect for a couple. Having a bedroom upstairs made the place very roomy and spacious feeling. The location was perfect for us. It's a short walk to Greenlake and lots of restaurants and stores. We were visiting nearby family so did not need the bus but it is just a half a block away to the street where the bus runs. We look forward to staying there again.
