Hurricane Irma is gone and the resort is open and is virtually damage-free!
Penthouse Unit with unobstructed views of the Gulf of Mexico and the beautiful 'Back Bay'. Few, if any of the units at the Lover's Key Resort offer the views that this unit does.
Nestled on Black Island where there are only 2 other resorts is Lover's Key Resort. According to the Travel Channel, Lover's Key is #4 of the top ten beaches in the world! The views from the balcony are absolutely breathtaking and virtually guarantee frequent dolphin sightings. Manatee, stingray, and sea turtles are also common sightings. Lover's Key State Park and the beach is just across the street and all of the fun and nightlife of Times Square is just a short trolley ride away.
On site, there is a gorgeous pool, restaurant, tiki bar, fitness room, and library where a computer and internet access is available for your use. While at the resort, stroll along on the sand of the back bay or fish from the water's edge. Boat rentals, fishing charters, Everglade Tours, golf courses ,and miniature golf courses are all just a short distance away.
Lover's Key is close to all of the action and fun of Fort Myers Beach and is only 20 miles from the world class shopping and dining found in Naples, but is quietly tucked into a tiny piece of paradise

About Dave and Tina
We live just 2 miles from this beautiful resort and have always admired it. Fort Myers Beach is where Tina and I honeymooned 17 years ago! Who would have guessed we'd be lucky enough to live here!
Dave and Tina purchased this Condo in 2011
Why Dave and Tina chose Ft Myers Beach
We have always been impressed with the cleanliness and location of this great resort. A recent change in management has made Lover's Key Resort one of the best buildings in Fort Myers Beach!!
What makes this Condo unique
While direct Gulf front units are nice, the views from this resort are even better (in our opinion). From this condo, the Gulf of Mexico is just across the street and highly visible, but the wildlife in the back bay offer a 'two for one' value that few buildings can boast.

This is a well equiped and furnished rental with a tremendous view.
Therre are not enough nice things I can say about this apt. The view, the comfortable king size bed, the kitchen supplies were all great. The only negative is the small kitchen. Who cares about that with all the good things going with this apartment.
The view was spectacular and the condo comfy and cozy!
All went well, and check in was easy. The owners were responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend their wonderful condo and would stay again!
The condo was very nice and clean and the view is AMAZING! The owners were very responsive and overall the experience was wonderful!!!
Great place for respite!
We gave my sister and brother-in-law a weekend at this lovely property to provide them with badly needed respite as they are the caregivers for my mother who has advanced dementia. They were thoroughly in love with the property and the resort amenities and I found David very responsive and interested in making sure they had a great time. I'm looking forward to staying here myself in the near future!
Great place for R&R Spectacular Views the owners were Very Accommodating We would love to stay there again..
Very clean, nice pool, far from FMB Times Square
We enjoyed at our stay at the penthouse. We liked looking out at the water from the balcony. The condo was exceptionally clean. We found the kitchen to be well stocked for our needs (microwave cooking and coffee pot usage only, but there was an oven). The place was very spacious. There is access to the balcony from both the living room and bedroom. Tina and Dave were very responsive to questions. There were 6 regular towels and 4 beach towels, so that was enough for our stay. We found the bed way too soft for our liking. We were also disappointed with the distance to FMB Time Square. You are close to one end of FMB, but all the action is at the other end. Part of Lovers Key beach is across the street, but the water wasn't recommended for swimming when we were there. Note that you do need to pay to enter the beach. One day, we visited Lovers Key State Park and enjoyed walking on the beach and shelling. It's a 2 minute drive from the condo. We'd recommend the condo for anyone who doesn't mind the distance to Times Square.
