In the 20th century many residents of Key West began referring to themselves as “Conchs”, now this term generally applied to all residents of Key West. This vacation home is called Conch Cottage because it encompasses the heart of the Key West life style.

In the heart of Old Town with traditional architecture, this home serves as a perfect luxury and vacation. Proximity to all that the island has to offer, Conch Cottage is a one bedroom, one bath home with a full kitchen and back deck. This rental is ideal for a couple or single guest.

This home is exactly what you would imagine! From the ginger bread features to the porch seating area and colorful paint, this is a perfect place to people watch and relax at any hour of the day.

Conch Cottage is fully furnished and features a completely renovated, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. The living and dining areas are open concept. There is a flat screen, cable TV and couch. The open space allows full view of the French doors leading to your private rear deck.

The bedroom has a queen bed and a door to the private back deck. You can close the curtains for privacy or let the sunshine come through.

The rear deck has all the amenities you could need. The space has a lounging area, an outdoor seating area with an umbrella and a grill. This can serve as an outdoor dining area. The new spa is another way that this deck is the ultimate place to relax, entertain, grill and live like a local! Another bonus is the private, outdoor shower. You can slip away, allowing the tropical breeze in with no worries, there is complete privacy.

If you want to take a swim, Key West has a community center with a huge community swimming pool and a deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. There is also a park next door to the pool, you may also want to take a bike ride in the Truman Annex, or ride to the tree-lined beaches of historic Ft. Zachary Taylor. Conch Cottage is a non-smoking home.

Awesome Place to stay

Me and my wife rented this cute little conch house a block off Duval this past week. The home has everything you need to stay, plus bonus hot tub, and washer dryer. Sit on the front porch swing to people watch, relax in a very well planned out private rear area.... We will be renting this place again....

Great property! Cozy, and perfect for 2

This property has everything you would want for an island getaway. Clean, and the Kimberly and Jose were awesome and accommodating. Jacuzzi was an awesome touch. The outside deck/patio had plenty of privacy. The place is very close to a lot of great places to eat and drink. Just a few blocks from a 24 hour CVS. Came down for my wedding and was very happy. Small kitchen was awesome. Great coffee maker! I will be coming back.

The only downside, and it may or may not be an issue for others, is the parking. This place is a better value than the hotels on the island, but in a week you can spend a significant amount of money on parking. Right near the cottage(100 ft. from the door), parking was cheapest, $32/day, but the weekend brought some crowds which left me searching for more expensive parking. I should have budgeted that better to account for parking costs, but otherwise it is a great place.

The cottage had everything we needed for an amazing stay in Key West. Perfectly located near all old town attractions and restraurants while still giving us the quiet and privacy to relax.

Our stay at the conch cottage was amazing. They provided my boyfriend and I with all the essentials. The outdoor shower was amazing! There was a hot tub, grill, and awesome patio. We ended up cooking in most of the time because there was a kitchen. I definitely will try to stay there when I visit key west. It made our experience so much better.

What a gem of a cottage , was there for a birthday week and had a blast . Tks so much to Kim and Jose yu two were awesome friendly and accommodating , the perfect place for a getaway close to all within walking distance to duval and had a great stay !!! The property was clean and well maintained can't wait to come back !! 😃

We can't say enough great things about this rental and the service provided by Homeaway and Preferred Properties Key West. The booking went fast and smooth and all of the relevant information was relayed to us in a timely fashion which made our arrival and departure perfect. This property is in fantastic condition and was not lacking for anything that we needed during our stay. The location makes it perfect for walking just about everywhere so there is no need for a car or scooter. Overall a perfect experience.
