This property was clean and well maintained. The curb appeal of the home was disconcerting, but once inside, everything was fine. Plenty of room for our group of seven. The fire pit table is great and the property manager, once informed that the grill was broken, had it replaced with a brand new one promptly. The view is amazing, but the hike down to the river is steep and wouldn't be suitable for the elderly, small children or anyone who isn't in otherwise good shape/health.
We spent our vacation with our two teens and lots of their friends at this house. It is great kids can stay down stairs, adults can sleep on top floor and everyone can meet together on the main floor. we brought our boat and it docked great at this house. Amzgetaway managed the home and did a great job of answering questions during our stay.
We were not sure about staying in someone else's lake house, due to cleanliness, and comfort level. The minute you walk in, you immediately make yourself at home. The style is contemporary, very, very spacious with 3 levels. We were specially impressed with how clean it was, our beds sheets actually smelled like detergent! The dining inside is beautiful, but you will have your breakfast outside with the beautiful view it offers. We'll be booking this place again this year.
The house was very nice & roomy and provided ample space for 3 families. We had a great time eating dinners on the back patio which overlooked the lake. We were a short drive away from Natural Bridge Caverns and took a day trip. The only issue we had was that the split level house a nice quarters in the downstairs room with one bedroom (4 bunks beds) and living area but the stairs were quite steep with no rail. Of course the kids wanted to sleep downstairs and our youngest (2 1/2 at the time) kept wanting to follow her cousins up and down the stairs which made it hard and stressful on us. Other than that, if you have all older kids, it's a great area for them to play in. I would stay here again once the kids are all a little older. Thanks!
