Foothill Vista - Stylish Remodeled Condo with Mountain Views
In the foothills of Santa Barbara, surrounded on two sides by the 200-acre San Marcos Foothill Preserve, a quiet community exists, where this newly remodeled condo offers stylish ambiance and artful design. On the second floor of a 4-plex, this condominium features 2 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms. Outside, there are mountain views from every room, and, a tree-house feel with magnolia, redwood, jacaranda, maple and coastal oaks. Inside, the walls are adorned with original oil paintings depicting California landscapes, oceanscapes and still lifes. Clearly, the owners' poetic roots are echoed in the art and design choices in the home.
The Living Room with a gas fireplace is a wonderful inviting room with 2 Italian white leather couches and mountain views. The Dining Room has a table that seats 4-6 people and a sliding glass door opens to the cozy deck with plush seating and clever lighting. Meal preparation will be a delight with a fully equipped Kitchen and the cerulean blue ceiling color that enhances the space with a feeling of endless sky.
The Master Bedroom with king-size Kluft bed features a magnificent magnolia tree with glossy green leaves and bright white flowers that complement the scenic view of low-lying foothills rising to rocky peaks. The attached Master Bathroom has rich granite counters and a polished rock floor – a large walk-in closet completes this nicely appointed Suite.
The sunny second Bedroom with queen-size bed also features views of the foothills and mountains. Just across the hall is the second Full Bathroom with a glass mosaic wall. The community offers a shared pool and coin operated Laundry for guests' use, as well. A covered carport provides designated parking for one car and ample additional visitor parking is available, as well.
A perfect home for a visiting couple, or, a small family, Foothill Vista has an ideal location: positioned between the city and wine country, it is the perfect springboard to enjoying all there is to do in the area. With San Marcos Pass nearby, a quick drive up to the Santa Ynez Valley Wine Country is enticing. Plan a day of wine tasting, glider rides, or hikes on nearby trails. Or, hop in the car for a quick 10-minute drive to downtown Santa Barbara where there are unique shops, interesting galleries and museums and wonderful restaurants to explore. Even local attractions like the Botanic Gardens and the historic Mission are nearby. If you prefer a day without cars, step onto nearby hiking trails that once connected Chumash villages, and hike the five-mile loop through valleys filled with coastal oaks to the viewing point on the ridge with it magnificent vistas of ocean and islands.
Whatever the activity, Foothill Vista is a quiet and serene choice to enjoy a bit of well-deserved rest and relaxation. Winter, spring, summer or fall, there is something to experience all year long with Foothill Vista as a sweet spot – a home away from home.

Thanksgiving Week (Any dates which include Thanksgiving Day)
7-Night minimum for all bookings made before Oct 1st.
3-Night minimum for current year bookings made after Oct 1st.
Christmas Weeks (Dec 19 - 26 & Dec 26 - Jan 2)
7-Night minimum (in the fixed weeks above) for all bookings made before Nov 1st.
3-Night minimum (and flexible dates) for current year bookings made after Nov 1st.
Stays of less than 30 nights are subject to a 10% Lodging Tax + $2/night Tourism Tax.
$225 Cleaning Fee (14+ night stays require additional cleaning fees), Booking Fee (varies based on reservation cost).
$1,000 security deposit refundable within 14 days of checkout. Deposit is reduced to $250 with purchase of Damage Waiver.
30+ night stays require extra security deposit, and do not qualify for the damage waiver program.
