Recently updated and remodled, Angelfish 203 is a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom condo located in the luxury community of Lawson Rock in Sandy Bay. Enjoy sunset views from the covered patio off the living room, or take the stairs up to the private upper deck, where you can enjoy your own private pool and amazing views.

The kitchen is open-concept with all modern appliances. Purified water from all faucets eliminates the need of buying plastic bottled water. The dining area flows into the living area and has fantastic views of the Caribbean Sea. Drink your morning coffee on the private balcony and plan the day ahead. The condo also has cable service and WIFI throughout, so you can unwind after a busy day exploring.

The living room is oversized and very comfortable for even a large group. The Sofa is also a queen sleeper perfect for overflow if your group is a bit larger as well. You will enjoy the comfort of the high end furniture in the lounge area and throughout this luxury condo.

Both bedrooms are large and spacious with king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom is off the kitchen and dining area and has ocean views. The ensuite bathroom has double sinks, a jetted tub and an inside AND outside shower! The guest bedroom is off the living room and also has a very large ensuite bathroom, with double sinks, a jetted tub and walk-in shower. Both rooms are strategically placed so that you can have some privacy during your vacation.

Lawson Rock is a planned luxury community in Sandy Bay, about 5 minutes from the grocery stores and international airport in Coxen Hole. If you wish to explore more of the island, you can rent a car and leave it in the parking lot - Lawson Rock has 24/7 security - or you can arrange with our concierge to have a tour guide pick you up and take you around. West End and West Bay, 2 of the most popular spots on Roatan, is a short drive away, about 5-15 minutes, respectively. You will not want to miss these two areas when you visit our beautiful island!

You can spend your mornings drinking coffee or tea on the porch and enjoying the ocean breezes and beautiful views. Afterwards, feel free to explore the walkable beach and pick out where you want to go snorkeling. Our beach is professionally groomed with a tractor and beach cleaning device that keeps our beaches clean and helps eliminate sand flies while keeping the sand nice and fluffy.

Lawson Rock has free kayaks for you to use, so take them out and go and explore the reef. If you prefer to swim in pools, there are three community pools located throughout Lawson Rock. There is also 24/7 security on-site for you, as well as a gym and many amenities.

We also have 2 piers in the community. One for boating which also features stairs into the water for snorkeling and another relaxing 2 level sunset dock with excellent west views. Lawson Rock offers many amentites, such as 3 community pools, beach access and use of the kayaks, as well as an on-site gym and restaurant. Amazing stay at Angelfish 203

I was reluctant to stay In Lawson Rock because it's location and beach but I am so glad we did. The condo was luxurious and spacious as everyone has stated in their reviews so I am going to focus my review on what I never saw in any of the reviews but wanted to know. The week prior to our stay, the owner refurnished the condo with beautiful new sofas/chairs in both living/sitting areas and also a new outdoor seating that was beyond comfortable and made sitting outside on the balcony even better . My fav feature of the condo (as silly as it may seem) was the automatic light that would come on whenever you walked into the huge bedroom closet. The front entry is large and so convenient when you get back from an outing to put all your sandy gear down and jump in the shower to rinse off in the front bathroom. All our snorkeling gear/sunscreen/bugspray/hats/sunglasses, etc. stayed in the front entry and it was nice not to have it scattered throughout the condo.The rooftop pool was a bonus. It was great to be able to swim anytime w/o going anywhere. There were floats provided too. The rooftop gets a great, consistent breeze off the ocean and it was so pleasant at night. While the beach is not the fine sugar sand beach over in West Bay, it was still just as breathtaking. Yes, there is alot of seagrass and the snorkeling is not the greatest but it is doable by walking to the dock and entering the water that way instead of kayak. Don't let the beach deter you. The WiFi worked VERY well and the unit has a WiFi extender for the rooftop. The mattresses were a tad on the firm side but they weren't uncomfortable at all. We lost power 4 times during our week long stay & the generator kicks in within 15-30 secs. Getting a taxi day or night was simple; we walked up to the road (2 mins) and never waited longer than 30 secs for a taxi to pull over & offer a ride. Lawson Rock was quiet and had an ample security presence throughout the complex and adjoining neighborhoods. I did months of research trying to pick a place so believe me when I say, this is paradise and the accommodations were luxurious. I loved every minute of our stay. You cannot go wrong with Angelfish 203. Loved it!

The property is overall lovely.

Units are overly spacious, very good location except the ocean is weedy and I don't believe the snorkeling would be good. Close to store and a few restaurants. A bit further isnWest End with lots of good beaches, snorkeling and restaurants.

We have never rented a condo before always houses. Angelfish 203 felt like a house. Open airy and lots of Windows. Wonderful coveraged decks right on the ocean. Private pool on the roof. Everyone took care of our every wish massages, private chef, golf, drivers, etc. everyone was helpful and the unit itself was amazing. Would go back again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend it.

Everything we wanted in a vacation rental

Overall, this home was everything we could have wanted. We truly enjoyed the home and the private pool. The views from the balcony were superb and we spent many a day relaxing there. The beds were surprisingly comfortable (I don't usually have high hopes in this area). And everything was well stocked so we really didn't have any unmet needs.

You will definitely need a rental car for this location. There are restaurants within a mile (walking distance in my mind) but the main road has no sidewalks and it seemed rather risky given the size of cars on the road. But obviously the locals walk it regularly so your call. The restaurant on site was good but after a couple of meals, we wanted more variety.

The only thing I can think of for the resort to change is the kayaks. They have kayaks available but they are in need of a bit of repair. At minimum, focus on the ropes on the kayaks. The ropes aren't long enough to tie off on the buoys which means you can't kayak out to a snorkel spot. You can get reasonable ropes for little cash outlay. Would make the area much more user friendly.

I also want to give a shout out of praise for the security guards. Not only were they on top of their jobs and we felt very safe, but they were willing to lend a hand when needed including dragging in the kayaks from the shore and giving a bit of directions.
