Perfect place for large dog owners. Our two huskies loved the space and constantly ran, chased, and played every day of the stay. The fence line kept them in and safe.
The cabin looked beautiful at first glance, it was well equipped in the kitchen, bathroom, backyard and living room. I felt at home, but I was disappointed at few things that are really important to making or breaking a relaxing family getaway.
The bedrooms had one of the most uncomfortable spring mattresses, sleep was compromised and left a lasting body ache throughout the day.
The heater was so loud that my mom and brothers couldn't stay asleep for longer than an hour or two at a time. The whole cabin sounded like it was going to collapse every time the heater started or stopped, and during operation. It had an echoing sound from hell.
Also, despite the statement that this is a walking distance to the lake, it was actually quite the walk and I wouldn't have booked had I known how far the lake, walk distance-wise, was. I could've easily booked a lake-front cabin for the same price.
Overall, I think this cabin could become much better with few improvements to the bedrooms and heating system, and a better description of the location.
Overall a very nice rental house. Three kids, a dog and two adults fit very well. It was clean with plenty of room. GREAT backyard and hot tub. Kitchen was new and very well stocked. The downside: there were no paper towels, no large trash bags to haul trash to the dump and the T.V. in the twin beds bedroom didn't work which was a big disappointment to the kids. Also the swing set needs to be repaired as it seems very unstable and is leaning to one side. We didn't let the kids play on it. There was a bag of dirty towels on the driveway left behind from the cleaning crew too. It would have been super nice to have a clothes dryer as we had a lot of wet clothes from all the fantastic snow playing. We would consider staying there again tho for the great backyard, hot tub and house layout and furnishings. All in all, a nice stay.
