Hello & Welcome to RI! We used to vacation here since the 1980's My dream was to have a small house on this saltpond. It happened one day. I used to tell my daughter who was young then that the Quonnie was her giant aquarium. She was fascinated with the sealife (which became an educational tool) teaching her about the shells ,birds, horseshoe crabs, etc.She loved treasure hunting, making sand forts, and wading in the shallows.
All of us enjoyed swimming, boating and all the numerous activities we could do.
This area has many events & activities such as Music Festivals, Pow wows,Casinos flea markets, unique shopping, eateries, biking, hiking, tennis, golf even miniature golf, music- movies on the beach & lots of area attractions. The numerous beaches are the best and the water is clear.

I vacationed here for a week in September with my brother’s family and we all had an awesome time at the house. The views in the house and on the decks were very beautiful. The boat launch and docks were a great feature for my family’s boat- it’s nice to wake up and walk out to go fishing or to the beach. The beds were very comfortable and the house was nicely kept with really all the extra amenities- wifi, flat screens, expanded cable, jetted tub, AC, etc. I would definitely rent here again- we were all very pleased with the property and had a very enjoyable time! Thanks much! Sharon
This is the best vacation spot ever! It is right on the beautiful Quonnie Saltpond. The scenic waterviews are just gorgeous the all the decks & from every room in the house! It's like the saltpond is your backyard! Awesome! We enjoyed fresh clams casino, we got ourselves in the pond. Boating, beaching, sun & fun is what this is all about for us. There's so much to see & do.
The house is magnificent! Mostly all windows on the waterside-tremendous views and sunsets. What a home to entertain friends & family. I loved the decor! Hardwood floors, catherdral ceilings w/wood beams, natural wood trim, sunroom--plenty of room. The kitchen was state of the art and a joy to cook in.Loved the breakfast bar. You can easily grill out & entertain on the deck overlooking the panoramic view of the Quonnie.
We loved this area. Went to casinos, toured three of the Newport mansions, took the harbor tour and even squeezed in Mystic Seaport & Aquarium. Next time we want to go to Block Island!
