Homey, family friendly place to stay.
Great location if you want easy access to downtown Truckee and skiing at Northstar. The cabin was cozy and we especially liked the living room. It was a great place to gather after a day of skiing. Comfortable couches and chairs + adjacent open kitchen made even our teenagers want to hang out there. Long bar with high chairs made serving breakfast quick and easy. Our dog loved the easy acces to the fenced in back yard though the dog door. There’s a dog door with access to the back off of the garage too.
This is not the fanciest place (the decor is dated; all the mattresses should be replaced) but we were very happy to get to stay here. I want to note the the kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots and pans and dishes you could possibly want, so that was great.
My family had a great time !
We loved everything about this house !
A very pleasant stay
A nice quiet neighborhood and conveniently located near downtown.
We enjoyed the dog friendly home and the setting
We enjoyed the home, it was very comfortable, and in a beautiful setting. The fenced in yard with a side dog run was great for our dog. The house was clean, the furniture comfortable. The house was a short drive, 2 miles to the Truckee. The house is on a wooded property, but has neighbors in a very close proximity.
Cabin came as expected, clean and practical and well located.
A chair broke when I sat on it and i called the management company who was very nice to ask first if I was doing OK instead of blaming me for anything.
I would recommend this place for his proximity to Truckee, the fenced backyard if you have a dog. It was also very quiet at night.
Great DOG friendly home and awesome location!
We loved our stay at this perfect house. It was so conveniently located 5 minutes to all the restaurant, bars and amenities in Truckee, 15 minutes to Northstar, minutes to all kinds of nature trails. It was dog friendly with a big, fenced-in yard and lots of trails right out back. Our pup loved experiencing the snow for the first time and making friends with the dog-mayor of the neighborhood, Chico, who showed him around!! We had everything we needed to cook at home, as well. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. At night we cozied up in the big, open family room and watched movies. When severe weather impacted our stay, the owners were so understanding and accommodating for which we are very grateful. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again!
