Bamboo Gardens #1A is a convenient lower unit with a walkout to the pool.

This unique up/down duplex (to be converted to a triplex in March 2018) is situated along the back wall of Las Palmas. All 3 units will give tenants full access to the pool and a private gas BBQ. The 1 bedroom units will each get a new kitchen, all new appliances, and some new furniture.

The property is secure with nighttime guards patrolling the general area.

There is plenty of parking if you plan to rent a car or golf cart. On the other hand, the location is great so it's possible to walk everywhere.

The large king bed in these 1 bedroom units is great for couples who like a little more elbow room. The master has an ensuite bathroom and walk-in closet.

The triplex is located between two other homes and across from a green space so the area is quiet yet close to everything - just what you're looking for!

As you already know, we totally enjoyed our stay in the apartment. We have never had such great hosts in all our travels, providing us with more than just the normal items but to provide coolers for beverages, items in the kitchen that we would have to purchase, laundry facilities and so much more. We will definitely recommend your facilities to others that maybe traveling to Coco Beach.

P.S. According to the weather channel we are supposed to be getting high winds with waves on Lake Superior of 15-20 feet. Along with 3-5 inches of heavy wet snow, blizzard conditions by tomorrow morning. Costa Rica sounds really good right now.

perfect property in great location

The property was exactly as described and was equipped with everything that we needed for a wonderful vacation. The location to the beach is perfect about a three minute walk and the neighborhood that the home is in is very pretty and secure. The owners communication was fantastic and responded to every single question we had. it's also nice to have a mini supermarket at the bottom of the hill so that we could stay close to bamboo Gardens and the beach and not have to deal with the hustle and bustle of being in the town which is what we wanted peace and quiet. Town was close enough that you could walk and had stores and restaurants it was a lot of fun. The pool and Bamboo gardens was awesome and kept clean as well as the yard was in mint condition. we will return and we will stay at this home again it was that perfect and it was priced right at the market going right but more importantly the owners made it very special. my wife and I also have eight homes that are listed with VRBO and we wiuld rate these iwners at a perefct 10 score

Absolutely Wonderful!

Nadene and Roland are awesome hosts and property managers. They picked us up at the airport and made us feel welcome from the first minute we met them. Bamboo Gardens 1 was just as advertised and the backyard semi private pool was great. Nadene helped us arrange nearby activities and suggested things to see and do while in CR. Roland stopped by every few days to make sure everything was in order and to address any concerns with the property but there were none to address. Bamboo Gardens 1 has plenty of room for two couples or a family of four or five. The Las Palmas community is close to the beach, several restaurants, a corner grocery and the duplex is within walking distance to downtown bars, restaurants and grocery shopping.

We highly recommend Bamboo Gardens 1 to anyone looking for a peaceful or action packed vacation in Costa Rica.

Comfortable, Quiet and Private with a Fabulous Pool

We stayed at Nadene's place in Las Palmas for a month and liked it very much. It can easily handle two couples or a family of four. It's great to be able to throw open the slider in back and walk 10 steps to the pool. There is a palapa and several shaded areas around the pool when you need to limit your time in the sun. A nice big propane grill on the back patio is close and convenient to the kitchen as is the hammock. The bedrooms are large, the kitchen is well equipped, and the living areas are very comfortable. The A/C units are large and easily keep the place comfortable. A safe is installed in the unit. The WiFi is very good although the internet providers in Central America aren't quite as reliable as up north. Still, we easily streamed Netflix. This unit is one of the nicer ones in the Las Palmas neighborhood. There are several security people on duty at night, we never felt unsafe, I think they are there mostly just for presence. The only drawback is it is a 20-25 minute walk to downtown. We didn't have a rental car so we would walk to downtown for shopping and then take a taxi back for $2. You can take a lot of taxi rides for what a rental car costs. The beach is a 10 minute walk and is great for sunsets. The pool really makes the place great, we spent hours each day either in it on floatie chairs or under the palapa. Flavio keeps the pool and grounds looking nice and is a very friendly helper. We looked forward to seeing him every day. All in all, this is a great place to stay and I recommend it strongly. We will be going back soon.

Very Relaxing Place to Stay

We stayed at Nadene and Roland's condo in the Las Palmas neighbourhood for several weeks and had a wonderful holiday. Nadene met us at the airport and stopped so we could pick up groceries on our way to the condo. Throughout our stay, Roland and Nadene were most helpful in providing information on activities, restaurants and shops in and around Playa del Coco. They also ensured that the condo and the property were well maintained at all times.

The condo was perfect for us. It was bright and clean when we arrived. There were plenty of linens and towels. The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils, pots and pans and other kitchen needs so that we could prepare small or more elaborate meals. All of the appliances worked very well. There is a new couch in the living room, all new blinds and curtains, as well as new bedspreads. There is a brand new washing machine and dryer. We had no problems at all with the condo or anything in it. The photos on the Homeaway website are exactly as we found on arrival.

The condo is very private, we had the pool and yard to ourselves most of the time. This made for a relaxing holiday. On the other hand, there are many condo complexes in the area, so all we had to do was go for a walk to meet people. Playa del Coco is less then 10 minutes from the condo, great for long walks or lounging and swimming.

There are several restaurants within a 5-minute walk from the condo. In the town, about 20 minutes walk away, are many restaurants serving all types of food for all budgets. Grocery stores are also in town. If you don't have a car, no problem. You can walk to town or take a taxi for $2 USD each way. We had some great meals in many restaurants. Groceries were plentiful and varied. Also there are fruit and vegetable stands and bakeries in the town.

We would recommend this condo for anyone looking quite relaxation with the opportunity to take tours, walk the beach, dine in or out, meet some new friends. You will love Nadene and Roland. They are the best neighbours!

We were picked up at the airport and arrived at the condo to find it in very clean and well maintained had everything we needed to have a very enjoyable stay...the pool and yard was spectacular and we used the BBQ every day...I would say our stay exceeded our expectations and the we would definitely stay here again!!

DEPOSIT: 50% is due via Paypal on booking. Total rent plus the $250 security deposit and the $30 cleaning fee. Balance due on arrival.

REFUND: 100% refundable less a $100 administration fee if cancelled within 30 days of the booking. 50% of the deposit will be refunded less a $100 administration fee if cancelled after 30 days. Upon request, if you need to cancel, we can offer you a credit for the full amount to be used within 18 months of the cancellation date.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
