Relax and enjoy stunning wrap-around lake views from the deck, the verandah or the west-facing private hot tub at this charming century home surrounded by orchards and vineyards! Fabulous biking just three minutes away - suitable for recreational cyclists and avid bike buffs alike.

In summer, savour fresh cherries from two of Naramata's oldest cherry trees, right in your front yard. Grapes and plums abound in the fall. Kids will enjoy the swings under the large shade trees. This home's tranquil setting offers loads of privacy while being only minutes away from anything you might need! Our home is approximately 2400 square feet on two levels, situated on a mature landscaped quarter acre lot. Hedges, trees, and the agricultural surroundings ensure a cosy retreat for you and your guests!

Located in the heart of the Naramata bench, you are never far from a winery. Check out the Okanagan Wine Festival - there is one for every season! We can help you make arrangements for wine tours and tastings. Tour any of the two dozen wineries, and sip a new favourite on the deck while watching the sun set across Lake Okanagan. Sample regional cuisine at local restaurants, or just unwind with meals prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen or the handy gas barbecue.

This home is ideal for a large group, or two families vacationing together. There are three bedrooms on the main floor, sleeping six: two rooms have a queen-size bed, and one has two twin beds which can be combined into a king. Upstairs are one bedroom with a queen, and a large Master bedroom with a king size bed. Another room off the Master contains a single bed which can serve as a child's room. There is a common room for hanging out on each floor, as well as a full bathroom (each renovated in 2012). Enjoy your privacy, then come together for meals on the deck or at the family-size dining room table that can seat 12!

The village of Naramata is a nice walk or a short drive away, bringing you to Manitou Beach for swimming, or take your own boat out onto the lake via the public boat launch. Hikers and cyclists will enjoy the nearby Kettle Valley Railway trail complete with trestles, and spectacular scenery - just 3 minutes away! More rugged terrain is also right there for your pleasure.

Excellent stay

  • 5 of 5

We had an excellent stay at the Loves' residence. I find the home's location to be ideal for those who, like us, enjoy biking in Naramata: you can walk to or bike to the beach, if you don't mind a steep but short uphill coming back, KVR is also within biking distance (going up to it on Arawana road is quite a steep uphill, but hey, going home you cruise downhill). Despite proximity to the beach, the house is high enough that you can enjoy amazing lake views at sunset from the patio and from the bedroom windows. Being close to the Manitou beach made it very convenient for us, because we were vacationing with kids, and the kids could (and did) just spend entire days there. Since the house was so close, we could just stay at the beach until very late, and could either drive or bike there.

The house itself is well designed for groups. Most of the space is wisely used for bedrooms (there are 6!), and it is possible to close off the downstairs portion of the house with a door leading into the dining room, so that one group or family is separated from another and has extra privacy. There are two patios, one with a grapevine terrace, and another one in the garden. The garden has swings, grassy areas and is surrounded by a small fence -- ideal for families with children, because children can play there without the danger of running into the road.

Beyond that, the house has good supplies and is otherwise very nice and convenient. Communication with the owners was prompt and efficient. Christine and Tony, the people who clean and manage the property were wonderful, responsive, kind and understanding.

I highly recommend this house.

Perfect vacation at Naramata!

  • 5 of 5

We vacationed in Okanagan area many times but this year we made a new discovery!

Naramata – is the place where my Italy vacation dream came true!

Our stay was AMAZING! The house is very cozy and has unique character. There was place for everyone – adults, kids and Dog!

As a gardener I immediately fell in love with yard full of greenery and old fruit trees.

And a view from the deck covered with grapevines is to DIE FOR!

We did it all – we swam, ate, drank vine, hiked, kayaked, picked fruits, relaxed and had many good laughs in a company of old friends!

Did I mention salad dressing from freshly juiced grapes - courtesy of Tony The Manager!!

Thank you Love’s family! Thank you Naramata!

Perfect location in every way

  • 5 of 5

Spent an amazing weekend at the Love's beautiful home! We were 8 people and it definitely accommodated us very easily. Tons of indoor and outdoor space, in such a convenient location close to the lake, the village, the vineyards. The huge kitchen and dining area was perfect for family meals and gatherings. The only downside is that we wished we stayed a few days longer!

Naramata Oasis

  • 5 of 5

Spent a great weekend at the Love's gorgeous home. Tony the property manager was great, he popped by and was very friendly and funny too! Lots of room for family and friends to sleep and all eat together which was a BIG bonus! We hardly left the back porch because of the stunning views and large patio table that we fit 11 of us around. The rooms were beautiful, the beds comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked and functional, what more could you need?! Wineries were close by and the area was lovely for an evening stroll. Oh and did I mention the hot tub with view of the lake and stars?! I would definitely return.

Perfect for a large group!

  • 5 of 5

Just spent another fantastic weekend at the Love's. We are a large group of family friends and this house is a perfect fit. It seems we've started an annual tradition of wine-tasting, hiking, communal cooking and just hanging out on the front porch. The house has enough space to accommodate everyone in comfort regardless of the weather. We just show up and know that the house is well stocked with everything we need. I can't wait for our next visit!

40th birthday party

  • 5 of 5

Just returned from an incredible weekend at the Loves beautiful home. The house exudes character and was so cozy and comfortable. Nestled in between an orchard and a vineyard with beautiful views of the lake. Kitchen stocked with quality dishes and glassware, tons of cutlery. Good quality towels and sheets. We had the best time. The pictures don't do it justice! Can't wait to go back again. Thanks so much!!
