About Jessica Dalimata

How the ridge came to be…

Montana native Neil and his wife Jessica began looking for the perfect spot to build their dream resort after marrying in 2009. Neil was raised on a 1000 acre working ranch bordering the park and has always called Montana home. A carpenter and builder by trade, he and Jess wanted to build a five cabin resort to share with park visitors the glory of northwestern Montana.

Jessica Dalimata purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Jessica Dalimata chose Glacier Park

The ridge at glacier

In 2013 they found the perfect spot, untouched land on a ridge at the end of a county road one mile off of U.S. 2, and only eight miles from the West Glacier park entrance! In Montana terms, that’s right next door.

Neil began the project on the pristine land in 2014, designing a layout with a secluded feel where each cabin looks off of an expansive front porch across the downhill slope at the amazing mountain vistas across from The Ridge. Having worked with his father for years building cabins for resorts throughout the area, Neil brings to his own resort the finest design elements and craftsmanship that will make your stay a visual treat as well as a functional one. Come on out and let us share our dream with you!

We had a wonderful week visiting Glacier National Park and using The Ridge as our home base. The house was beautiful. We enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen and grilling on the BBQ.

Perfect cabin getaway!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay was amazing. The layout was perfect for even a family of six and you could tell lots of attention was paid to every detail. The kitchen was fully stocked, linens incredibly soft and lush and the location was hard to beat. You were close to West Glacier but get secluded in your own little sanctuary. I would highly recommend to others and this will be the place we stay should we ever go back (which I hope we do!)

Great Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Our cabin at the Ridge was a perfect place for exploring West Glacier. It is very close to the park entrance ( a few miles ) but you are off the busy road. The cabins are well placed, even though there are a few other cabins near by, you feel secluded, surrounded by trees. Jess was a great host (along with Rosie the dog!) and saw that we were well taken care of. Everything is as shown and you will not be disappointed. I would highly recommend the Ridge and hope to return in the future!

Amazing stay at The Ridge

  • 5 of 5

Visited GNP the second week of September and had an amazing stay in Cabin #4! Jessica greeted us upon arrival and gave some excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants and grocery shopping. The cabin itself was beautiful, and had everything the four of us (two couples) needed for a comfortable stay! The resident dog, Rosie, was also one of the highlights :) Would highly recommend these cabins to anyone traveling to the GNP area. Convenient to the park entrance, grocery stores, restaurants and area attractions.

Great Place a few miles from Glacier NP entrance

  • 5 of 5

Cozy cabin that felt like home. Quiet and off the beaten path but close to the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier. Kitchen stocked with all the pots, pans and utensils you'd need. Jess is a very gracious host. We all loved the property dog Rosie.

Glacier National Park: Crown Of The Country

By any name and from any view, Glacier National Park has a dramatic presence. Home to more than one million acres (1,583 square miles), the beauty of glacier-carved terrain encompasses wild meadows, glistening clear rivers, stunning 400-foot waterfalls, striking rock faces and dramatic mountain peaks. It's truly unlike any place on earth. The Going-to-the-Sun Road—an engineering marvel and National Historic Landmark—takes visitors through the heart of the park over Logan Pass and is one of the most scenic drives you'll ever take. In total, the Going-to-the-Sun Road is 50 miles of stunning scenic beauty.

While summer is the busiest season in the park, Glacier National Park is open year-round. Autumn offers a peaceful—and colorful—visit to the park, while winter provides a prime setting for snowshoeing, ice climbing, cross-country skiing and sightseeing.

Serenely perched atop a secluded setting overlooking mountains and forest, The Ridge at Glacier is just eight (8) miles from the park's western gate.
