unit was conveniently located with fun activities for the kids!

  • 4 of 5

Overall this unit was nice and conveniently close to the beach and shops. Kids had a blast in the pool and hot tubs as well as playground and courts. The only issue was the constantly wet lanai from the AC which made access to lanai a safety concern. Otherwise it was ok for adults to enjoy the view. Dining chairs were a little worn but still doable. Shower curtain kept flying when shower head was on causing floor to be wet so we would have to wipe floor every after shower. Parking was available for tenants 1 vehicle plus 1 guest only for max 4 hrs. Otherwise street Prkg next option which was impossible on weekends. Also $20 Prkg for 24hrs available for others. We enjoyed our stay here in the middle of Waikiki and rates reasonable. (Luau tickets were not received though).

Amazing Condo!

  • 5 of 5

We were very pleased with this Condo. We are experienced vacation renters. We were a little uneasy, as we had a bad experience with Roaches LAST YEAR AT ANOTHER hawaiian PROPERTY, but this Rental had NO insect. The view was amazing, the rental was updated, modern and clean. We loved having laundry services right next door (1 washer and 1 dryer). The Sofa Bed mattress is a newer style, my husband said it was very comfortable. The other 2 beds are full size, reasonably comfortable.

Postcard quality view!

  • 4 of 5

My family of 5 stayed comfortably in this compact unit. It compares favorably to other units due to its true ability to sleep 6. The 2 full beds and a very comfortable full sized futon were perfect for us. The unit was clean and tidy. The bathroom has a few signs of recent upgrades and the kitchen was very functional. This unit is perfect for being close to the Waikiki action as a place to rest your head. Even the small lanai was used every morning because of the incredible views of Diamondhead. The kids were bit restless while we were preparing meals because the TV lacked but thats a minor thing. The only thing really needed were some normal drinking glasses as the only drinking cups were leftover plastic cups and coffee mugs. The air conditioner labored full time as it barely managed to keep the room cool but it did the job.

It was just our luck that the building had 2 all day water shut downs while we were there, but that is the kind of thing that just happens once in a while.

We would definitely consider staying here again.

Owner's Response: Aloha! Thanks for the **4 STARS**! Yes, the view is surely a "Postcard" ......Diamond Head Crater and the ocean views in real life is a postcard "come to life"! Breathtaking! Not to mention the sunrise.....I imagine you out there on the balcony welcoming the beautiful Hawaiian morning sun warming up and tantalizing your senses while sipping your coffee....this is a nice start of your day. In other matters, not sure what you meant by drinking glasses or the lack of. Because we have a full set of the taller drinking glasses that is part of the inventory. Re Water Shut Off all buildings have scheduled "Water shut offs" to improve and repair plumbing in the building. This is usually done on normal business hours. And this is probably the time most guest are out and about anyway. Glad you had a nice time and welcome you back anytime! Rick and staff

It was so nice to see a 'welcome/care' package when we arrived at your condo, Rick!

Kitchen, living room, balcony:

Keith spent time in his favourite place of the condo, on the balcony overlooking Diamond Head, Waikiki downtown, and the ocean.

We made good use of the fridge and even the freezer, but not the stove and oven. As for the small appliances, we used the microwave and coffee maker...these were so handy to have at hand. It was also useful that the couch opened up into a bed. We didn't watch a lot of television, but it wasn't a very good picture as it was too dark. Small dinette set was perfect. One of your drinking glasses has a chip in it. I pushed it to the back. There wasn't much dish detergent, so upon departure, it was pretty much empty. The air conditioning puddled on the balcony. I suppose there could be a slip.

The bed was comfortable, just the right amount of bed coverings for the temperature this time of year. The bathroom had a mildewy smell to it now and then. But so nice to have the clean towels. Could have used a couple more face cloths. The tub drain was clogged with hair, however. We notified the cleaning people as we left. There was a couple times I had business events so could have used an iron and ironing board in the closet. By the way, the beach towels and mats came in handy!

This was problematic. There were days when the connection was so spotty that we missed incoming calls. They simply said they couldn't connect with us.

We were happy to have a clean room. That is one of the most important things to us. Also, I am afraid of spiders and the only bug we saw in the time we were at your condo was a big beetle on the balcony. Thank you for keeping the condo clean and I suppose you had nothing to do with it being bug-free. However, I think the cleaning efforts did contribute to that.

Upon leaving:

The toilet and the sink near the toilet had water-cut-off at 9am, two hours before we were to leave at 11am. This posed a problem. I suppose it would be nice to have that water up until 11am.

We loved the walking distance to Waikiki. Good location if you enjoy the night walks along the beach and the excitement of Waikiki!

A big Mahalo, Rick! :)
