Beautiful Home in the Mountains with incredible views! Hot Tub and BBQ on the Deck! Pet Friendly! Bask in the views! 3273 Sq. ft., 1 King Bed (master suite), 2 Queen Beds, 2 singles. 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths. Petfriendly!
Gorgeous 2 story home which on the mountain overlooking Crested Butte Valley. On Cinnamon Rd which is ski in and out if you are an average skiier. You can also walk down to the base area in the summer!
Beautiful gas fireplace, large spacious rooms. 4 Bedrooms, 3 Baths - one king, 2 queens and 2 twins in the 4 bedrooms.
Brand new kitchen! new stainless steel appliances - refrig, dishwasher, microwave, oven - just installed. Plus flatscreens in all 4 bedrooms.
You do need a 4 wheel drive in the winter to drive up to this beautiful view home!
Ski in and out in the winter - you must be an intermediate skiier. To ski out, you ski directly across to Silver Queen lift from the roundabout at the end of the road. Coming home, the homeowner's trail takes you right back to the roundabout, or you can cut off the home owners trail and ski directly to the back of the house. You must be an intermediate skiier, not a beginner!
THERE IS A LONG TERM CARETAKER in the basement to maintain the home! they have a separate kitchen and entrance.
Cars: there is space in the driveway for 3 cars if they aren't too big. In the winter, count on only 2! Snowplowing takes up space on the top of the mountain. If you have more cars, plan on parking them in the town lot for $15/nt. The garage is in use by the owner and can't be used by guests.
I have been managing properties in Crested Butte since 2001. This is a particularly gorgeous property high up on Cinnamon Mtn Road from which you can ski in and out on the owner's trail, or walk to the base. You do need a 4 wheel drive in the winter!!
Robin Dreyfuss purchased this house in 2004
Our number one priority was outstanding views and large decks to enjoy the view. This property was spectacular. The property is definitely aging and in need of TLC. The primary negative was the lack of closet space. The master had none. The other downstairs closet was locked. And there were two small closets upstairs. We were there two weeks and this was a real inconvenience. J
We were completely mislead! This house is in no way, shape or form a ski-in/ski-out. The only path that leads to the base has a mini mountain in front of it. For giggles, my 18 year old son decided to try to make it to the bottom of the slopes from the house. After cutting through the woods on foot, crossing over a few back yards, roads and several driveways he finally made it. The road in the mountains that goes to this property is private and the city does not plow it. Therefore, unless you are driving a Sherman Tank, and it is snowing, you will not be able to get to the house. Everyday, eleven of us had to hike up hill in the snow for 1/2 mile with all of our gear to get to the house. The bonus is that we got parking tickets for abandoning our vehicles on the side of the mountain as we had to make our trek to the house several times a day. Once we made it to the house it was nice but the misrepresentation of this property took away from any of the happiness and joy we were all looking for in a house in the mountains. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
This is high up on the mountain overlooking the base, and the views are incredible. The hot tub's views are probably the best anywhere in CB. I love the spaciousness of the living room with the fireplace that looks 2 ways. This is a really comfortable, elegant home and it is pet friendly too, which made it... perfect. ps. didn't need 4 wheel drive in March!
