Lynchets is in a small village called Betchworth, which is about 25 miles from central London. It is set on a hill with extensive views over southern England.
There are many fantastic golf courses within easy reach, and the local town of Dorking is known for its collection of antique shops.
There are plenty of walks and hikes right from the bottom of the driveway, and Lynchets sits on the path of the original “Pilgrims Way”.

Stayed over New Year- and had a relaxing time group aged 17-80,amazing location so neat to London yet you feel 100's of miles away
We had a great few days here after Christmas. Louise was very helpful in the run up and someone came to mend a blocked sink really quickly when we alerted the housekeeper. The bedrooms are great and the loft and upstairs bedroom are ideal for kids. The pool was the highlight - lovely and warm so got lots of use during our winter stay. The kitchen is also really well equipped for catering for a large group. We'd definitely recommend this property to others. Many thanks Louise!
What an amazing place - beautiful and spacious cottage set in stunning surroundings! The perfect place to celebrate 3 family birthdays. The pool was fab! Lovely scenery all round, great walks right outside the door and impressive views stretching for miles in front of the cottage. Quite something - the photos do not do this place justice! Very helpful owner too!! Thanks again for a great stay.
This is the second time we have stayed at this property, and on both occasions had a really fantastic time. The home and gardens are spectacular, the pool just adds to it all! It's so difficult to believe you are just an hour from London and 30-40 minutes from Heathrow.
Our stays have exceeded our expectations, with Louise being incredibly responsive and eager for her guests to have a good time.
I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here - any time of year!
Well, what can I say. The property, the view, the amenities.... the photo does not do it justice at all. As we drove through the gates , all we could do was gasp with delight. We were speechless with the beauty of the surroundings... As for the house itself... more than delightful. I was able to celebrate my 50th with my nearest and dearest in such a wonderful place was a dream come true. We enjoyed the experience so much that we have already checked to see if it is available for Christmas and/or New Years but sadly the place - unsurprisingly - has already been booked. But we will be booking again. Love it! Thank you Louise for such a wonderful experience. xxxxx
We rented from a Thursday until a Monday morning, so that our family could gather for the wedding of our son to a local girl. This was a great house for us, plenty of space for everyone and their cars. The highlight will always be the pool house and it's terrace, the plot is elevated and looks southwards towards Crawley about 10 miles away.
The house itself is thatched and does have a lot of character, it also has plenty of modern features and a good number of loos as well! The master bedroom is superb, so worth a special mention.
A bbq on the terrace, some splashing about in the pool, conversation, a drink or two and views over a whole swathe of Surrey countryside ........ does it get any better?
Louise was very helpful with the one or two queries we had, a big thank you from all of us for our special weekend.

Amazing Hiking right on Old Pilgrims Way, the property was once owned by the artist John Piper and his studio is still located behind the house with views for miles; The house faces southward and on a clear day you can see the ocean from the studio.
