Charming apartment in a terrific location

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I spent a week visiting Boston and stayed at 37 River St. in Boston. The apartment is well-equipped and very comfortable. It has the charm of an older building with the modern updates we all want. The location can't be beat - it is one block off Charles St., which is the main business section of Beacon Hill with stores and great restaurants. Access to the "T" is a couple of blocks away, and the Boston Gardens and Commons is a block away, so it is an easy walk to the activities and restaurants in the Back Bay. The start of the Freedom Trail is less than a quarter of a mile away, so access to this key Boston attraction is very easy. I would definitely return.

Wonderful Beacon Hill Apartment

  • 5 of 5

This Beacon Hill apartment was a great home base for us during our visit to Boston. The apartment was very well furnished with comfortable linens, a well stocked kitchen, and a large bathroom (much larger than I expected for a city apartment). The apartment was very clean and decorated very tastefully.

We had a very late flight into Boston and Caroline was great to work with and was very accommodating by sending detailed instructions on how to access the apartment. Caroline is very responsive and made the booking process very easy.

The location of the apartment is perfect. Centrally located to all the popular sights in Boston. I really enjoyed browsing and walking along Charles Street (which is literally a 2 minute walk from the apartment). Everything you could possibly need can be found on Charles Street.

The Charles/MGH T stop is a short walk from the apartment and the Boston Commons is also very close. I found we walked through the Commons quite a bit to get to the Boston sights. On the nights where we were out late and took the T back to the apartment, I felt very safe walking to the apartment on Charles Street. We even stopped for ice cream at JD Licks as they were open till 11 pm during the week.

You won't be disappointed with this apartment. We have already decided to come back to Boston in the future and this apartment will be the first thing I book.

This Beacon Hill apartment is the perfect home base for your adventures in Boston.

Wonderful Neighborhood/ Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

We went to Boston to visit colleges with our son, see some sites and get a feel for the city. Perfect location for all.Very warm and cozy apartment. We came in early due to the storm and our host got us in as soon as she could. On the other end we had a late flight and she let us leave our bags so we could enjoy our last day. There is a Pilates studio in the retail below which is super fun as I am a Pilates fan.

Amazing location. Clean, comfortable, & charming.

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I booked Caroline's place for a few nights of our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. Short walk to Boston Common and Charles River. Plenty of shopping and restaurants.

The apartment itself is charming and clean. Comfortable bed in addition to a sleeper sofa. Kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, etc.

Caroline was a great host. We met briefly upon arrival and she always responded quickly to inquiries. I would absolutely book this rental again.
