The water faucets didn't work, the showers didn't work, walls were extremely thin and you can hear everything. No matches were left to start fireplace, plenty of wood but no matches. When we called the local contact she was less then helpful. Microwave handle was held together by black tape, the place is decent if it's two people staying there. It is extremely outdated and the pictures on the website make it look bigger then what it really is....I would reconsider and go elsewhere.
Stayed for 5 nights early December 2016. First time booking but have already reserved same place for next year. Love the authentic ski lodge feel. Kitchen is updated and well equipped. We ate in 3 of 5 nights and had no problem cooking up some great food (Costco is a must). Bed was comfortable (stayed in the "front" secondary master) and bathroom was updated. BEST PART is the easy walk to the lift at Peak 9 AND the 2 free lift tickets. There's no better deal in Breck. Go ahead and book it - you won't be disappointed.
Pros - walk to the slopes, ski pass included is a great benefit, close to downtown, very comfortable living areas, well stocked kitchen - enjoyed our stay
Cons - needs maintenance - many light bulbs out, could not turn on the water in one of the showers, duck tape on the microware and refrigerator door, you have to wait on the toilet to finish and pull the handle up or it keeps running, burners on the stove are tilted so hard to cook evenly
We had a wonderful long weekend staying at this Mill Run property. The house has a great location and is well appointed. We loved being able to walk to town but also feeling like we "got away from it all" too. There was a beautiful red fox that visted each night which was really cool! Our only complaint would be the comfort of the beds. We all had some stiff backs in the morning but all in all would stay here again and reccomend to our friends.
Ww rent this house twice a year. Once in the winter and once in the summer. We love it here. Great location. Excellent value! Home is well kept, cozy, and always very clean. You can walk to the the slopes or take the free shuttle!
We have visited this home for the last 3 years(Group of 5 guys). We do a yearly guys trip to go snowboarding. This home is a great value for us as it comes with 2 ski passes. The home has always been well maintained and clean. Plan on setting a date for the upcoming year. Home is close to the bus stop and town.
