About the property

Brand New 2700 Sqft, 4 Bed, 4 Bath, Family Gathering Home At Coral Ridge Resort

Rule #1 - The Paraglider stays in the bunkroom.

You can fly it while playing your favorite games on the 60 inch HDTV, or watching any of the 'Planes' or 'Star Wars' movies... but it really does need to stay in the house.

The home sleeps 16 with two master suites, an additional private king bedroom and an awesome kids bunk room. Relaxing living, dining, gaming, and reading rooms allow your group to spread out and enjoy the home how you want to enjoy it. The 9-foot ceilings and luxury appointments remind you that you are on vacation.

The resort amenities include a clubhouse spacious enough for large gatherings, a swimming pool, hot tub, equipped fitness center, putting green, fishing pond, basketball court, and children’s playground.

At Coral Ridge, you are just minutes from nine other golf courses, tennis courts, river rafting, hiking, biking and ATV trails. St. George, Zion National Park, and Sand Hollow State Park are only a short drive away.

About Elsie Rackham

One from CA, one from VA. We met in Utah and after 20 years living from Syracuse to Denver to Milwaukee... we call Utah home again.

Elsie Rackham purchased this house in 2015

Why Elsie Rackham chose Washington

Location, location location. On the road to Zion National Park puts our home exactly where we want to be. Year-round activities with warm days and cool evenings. The ability to float and fish, hike and bike, explore canyons and trails and then soak in the outdoor hot tub or jacuzzi tub inside... perfect.

What makes this house unique

I know I want to vacation in Southern Utah, and I've heard good things about Coral Ridge Resort.... so why stay at 'Come to Zion?' Great question.

Laura and I have traveled and rented homes in beautiful places enough times to know that some rentals feel like hotels. Sterile, bland, soul-less places where you sleep and forget that you ever stayed there. On the other hand, some rentals are so 'home-y' and filled with the owners personal life, that it feels like they might be hiding in the hallway wondering why you are staying in 'their' home.

We want our guests at Come To Zion to feel so comfortable in our home that it feels like theirs. We organized the spaces so that the kids would have kids space. The grown ups would have grown up spaces. Spaces for quick check-ins with the office or business, and quiet spaces for a good book. It won't appeal to everyone (which explains why I've never seen a paraglider in a hotel room before) but for those that it does connect with, we want you to LOVE IT.

Check out the photos. And come to Zion.

Perfect for Our Needs!

  • 5 of 5

I've taken groups of about 10 to a number of different places. They all have their pros and cons...except there aren't any cons for our needs at this place. From the moment we walked in, it felt clean, open, roomy, well maintained, etc.

Each room was spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, spices, etc.

The patio areas were a pleasant surprise. The back patio has a grill, hot tub, some patio furniture, and 2 zero gravity chairs. Right off the upstairs double queen master, there is a covered patio area with a comfortable bench and 2 more chairs. This space got used a lot.

I give my highest recommendation for this unit for your stay in St George, Washington, Hurricane, or trip to Zion National Park!

Beautiful home, lots of space

  • 5 of 5

We had a family reunion with 3 families and a set of grandparents and this house completely fit the bill. The resort pool was hit up twice in one day! The only thing that would have improved the experience is there weren't many kid-friendly (i.e.: plastic) dishes and there weren't as many utensils: forks and spoons particularly as we were hoping. We had a great experience and would return.

Hotel Experience, Home Feel

  • 5 of 5

All I can say is, this rental exceeded my expecations! It had hotel quality amenities: fluffy towels, comfortable beds and bedding, flat screen tvs in every room and even great smelling shampoo and soap in each bathroom. Yet, a washer and dryer (detergent provided), a fully equipped kitchen and a hot tub that I don't have to sit in with strangers, made this a perfect vacation getaway. We rented two of the Rackham's homes for a Easter weekend family reunion. There was plenty of space for families to spend time together but also have some privacy as well. The PS3 game console was also a great addition, after hiking all day the kids just wanted to relax and I'm glad they could "play" for a while. The community pool was also very nice and was well used by our group. This by far has been the best rental we've ever stayed at and the only way to do Zions! Thank you Rackham family for a wonderful stay.

Wonderful Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We had such a terrific time staying at "Soaring over Zion!" It turned out to be a very rainy weekend but that did not deter us from making fun memories! The hot tub was perfect for this wet weekend. It was hard not to be cheery with such fun decor around the condo. The place is very well stocked with all the essentials. The location was great for our purposes here in southern Utah. The owners went the extra mile in allowing us to check in early upon arrival in town. Thank you!! We will come again!

Excellent vacation property

  • 5 of 5

My family (extended: six adults, five children) stayed in the house, checking in on June 1, and checking out June 5. We found everything to be as advertised. It is a beautiful home, and is conveniently located between St. George, and Hurricane Utah. We used the house as a base for hiking, and horseback riding in the Zion National Park area. If we return to the St. George area in the future, this is where we'd like to stay.

Soaring over Zion was wonderful

  • 5 of 5

The house was beautiful and immaculate. It was perfect for us, and so close to the range and to shopping too. We could have used a few more pans, as we cooked each morning and evening for the whole crew. If it is available next year when we return for the Berry's Steel Open at the Southern Utah Shooting Complex, we will book it, and we might even bring a couple more with us. Very enjoyable and easy. Thank you. The Eubanks, the Ricks, Sean, Dave and Jae, from Steamboat Springs, Colorado
