I'm a Brit, I fell in love with St Valery and bought this cottage in 1995. Then I moved to New York but couldn't imagine selling the cottage. I wish I was there now.
Caroline Hunt purchased this cottage in 1988

We had a great time in St Valery. Very kind and helpful welcome. The cottage is adorable and cosy. We were three. We would warmly recommend to our friend renting this accommodation. We had lovely bike rides. The "Baie de Somme" walk was also a very good time. The second bed could have been too small for a tall person. But it was fine for my 166 cm daughter. We will keep a very happy memory of our vacation.
The house is very charming and authentic and has everything you need.
The walk from St Valery to Le Crotoy (with a guide) was beautiful and exciting.
In all we had a great time!
Typical french cottage in the very centre of st valery fisher mans quarter. Beautiful clean well furnished and homely. Met by a Madame Caroline very friendly for a quick tour of this extremely well appointed home. Did not have a holiday home feel but someone's pride and joy. Stairs are steep not for the infirm but we are in our 60's and managed just fine. 2nd bed small adult but I'm 5'2" and was fine. Have to park up the hill in the public car park but everything is on your doorstep. June is the best time to go all the poppies are out. Little train to le crotoy wonderful as ever and lots of walking tours across the bay. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay even the french neighbours were saying hello to us .
