Relax and enjoy a slice of heaven with breathtaking waterfront views right on Boar's Head in Hampton, NH. This single family home is privately located between both private and public beaches. A short 10-minute walk will bring you straight to the Hampton Beach boardwalk for an afternoon of shopping, great restaurants and sandy beaches. If your looking to kick back and relax, take a 5-minute walk to the privately secluded beach located at the bottom of the hill.
This spacious home has plenty of room both inside and outside for relaxing and entertaining with friends and family. Soak in the sun on lounge chairs on this 1/4 acre lot, on the waterfront deck and in the outdoor shower. The spacious interior has approximately 3,600sf of living space including 4 bedrooms 2 baths. Sleeps 9-12 people, with three queen size beds, three twin beds and two additional cots. The basement, kitchen, and bath are all newly renovated and you can’t beat the views soaking in the whirlpool tub or from the large open living room overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The basement has additional space for enjoyment and entertaining with a pool table, card table, dartboard and bar.
And you simply cannot visit Hampton without going to the Beach Plum, just 2.7 miles north to the award winning lobster rolls and ice cream! If you are looking to venture outside of Hampton other local attractions only about 20 minutes away include nearby quaint cities, like Portsmouth NH, where you will find some of New Hampshire’s best restaurants, shopping and waterfront dining and the historic strawberry bank. Newburyport, MA also offers a similar new England coastal community experience.

We rented this home so that my husband's family could have some family time in between wedding events that brought us to the area. We all did have a very enjoyable time. There were plenty of sitting areas for our party of 11 and the furniture was comfortable. The kids also appreciated the large TVs. The view of the ocean through the living room windows and 2 of the upstairs bedrooms were outstanding. The neighborhood was quiet while just a short drive to the main beach and "boardwalk".
However, the house seemed as though it had not been checked-in on recently. Upon arrival, we noticed there were a number of light bulbs that needed to be replaced and only one outlet in the kitchen had power. I contacted Christine's assistant about this and received a response that someone would be over to reset a breaker/replace a fuse. To my knowledge no one came by to remedy this issue. In addition, the kitchen outlet that did have power was in fast proximity to the smoke alarm. Every time we used the toaster the smoke alarm sounded, even when smoke was non-existent. Also, just to be clear there are 4 bedrooms in the house with an additional double futon in the basement/gameroom.
There was another issue I felt was odd about the rental process for this property - the renters required a photocopy of my ID. My husband and I have rented homes (rented by their owners) in Florida, Massachusetts and most frequently the USVI's. We have never been requested nor required to send a photocopy of an ID before. I asked Christine's assistant about this protocol and she responded that it was for security reasons - not sure how a photo provides security. Well, but I guess they think it does.
All in all - nice house, but not quite what we anticipated and ultimately a bit overpriced for what is there.
It was a great trip to the Hamptons for a family vacation. The house was immaculate and organized and had plenty of space for a family of 6 adults and one child. Big screen TV in the living room with all the channels you could imagine which was perfect for ordering pizza from a great pizza shop in Hampton and watching Saturday night football. Some of the best ice cream you'll have is about the 3-minute drive north of the house at a little shack on the side of the road. We took a great scenic drive up the coast for about 15-miles where we crossed into Maine and had epic lobster rolls. The master bath was fabulous with the full-size Jacuzzi that overlooked the ocean; same views go with the master bedroom upstairs. The basement was nice to have a poker table, like a new pool table and mini bar built in the corner. The old army tower is attached to the house is a great tourist attraction and to be able to see the property miles away because of it is awesome, but is not allowed for renters to enter. The deck is great, fantastic views for the sunrises or to relax with the family and reminisce. The reason I give it four stars... When we arrived on a Friday is had been an abnormally hot day for that part of the country, and we felt it in the house, but not the way you'd think. When we investigated what was going on, we realized that the heaters were on, and heat was blowing hot air from all the vents. We'd hope a simple fix of turning down the thermostat would solve the issue. Unfortunately, it did not and near the thermostat was a cut wire making the thermostat unusable. Since the owners were both of vacation, I had to call the neighbor at night who herself was at her son's football, and we played phone tag due to lack of service of her being at a game. A few phone calls and a couple of people later, the maintenance man named Bob called me and said he would be able to come tomorrow to fix the issue. We had to kill the master switch to shut off the heat which means no warm water. So for all seven people to shower we had to turn the switch back on and wait for everyone to get a quick shower in before we could turn it back off. Luckily, it did cool off at night to about 78* and house was full of the box and isolating fans which helped. Other than that, we had a great experience and would love to return.
We had a group of 10 adults and there was ample room. The house is spacious comfortable and very clean. We all had an amazing time!
Entertainment=5++++++ Great television with great selections, pool table, great spot for yard games, view, view, view!
We will be request to book this property again!
The location of this house was perfect for us, between the main beach & north beach. The neighborhood was nice & quiet but we could still walk to the beach area with all the crowds & activity.
If you have teenagers/young adults with you, they will love the rec room downstairs.
If you are an early riser, you will enjoy seeing some beautiful sunrises from the comfort of the living room overlooking the ocean.
I preferred the quieter north beach but our 20 year old son preferred the main beach. Everyone was happy with their options.
The fully equipped kitchen & laundry room are also very convenient. Truly all the comforts of home.
From beginning to end, working with Christine and Stephanie was a breeze and a pleasure! This was a last minute vacation booking for us (8 weeks out). The plan was to take a trip back to the beach where my sister and I (as well as my Dad), vacationed growing up. We decided that nephews needed to experience Hampton Beach as well. We were not interested in staying off the boardwalk with the noise and lack of privacy in most cases. This house was perfect and gave us an ocean front property to boot. At the time of booking, the only week available was the last week in June and it worked for our family perfectly. The water at this time of year is definitely cold but the beach (es) was/were great. Temperature in the house remained perfect though I could see it being quite warm if temps and humidity were high (which fortunantely for us was not the case). The ocean breeze and abundance of fans supplied certainly helps in that arena.
House was exactly as pictured, though the only thing we found not to be as listed was lack of outdoor shower. We wanted to be very sure that little to no sand followed us into the house and that proved difficult without running water outside. The views are amazing and the WWII tower on the property (though not accessible to renters) allows you to locate your "home" from almost anywhere north or south! Though we did not use it, there is also an outdoor grill which we all felt was a great addition to the property but not mentioned in the write up. The home has plenty of protected/private parking as well as spaces outside of the driveway. (Also not an easy thing to find!) Very well equipt (as mentioned in the write up) with everything/anything we needed for cooking/cleaning/washing/drying. It also had perfect internet access (unfortunately for the few hours of work a few of us had to get in on vacation!)
Will definitely return to this property if timing works out mutually, (still hoping that October is an option!), the bar has now been set high! Thank you again Christine/Stepahnie for sharing your home!
Everything from ease of finding the house online to actually staying there really made this a great trip. The house is in the perfect location where you can truly relax and enjoy the ocean front views, but close enough to Hampton Beach strip that you can walk/Uber down and take in the beach and the events.
