Newly remodeled, 6 bedroom, LOFT style apartment. Most probably the only one of its kind. In the vicinity of the property are various restaurants, 24-hour supermarket (across the street), pharmacy, banks, coffee shop, nightlife, hospital, theaters and a Planet Fitness Gym (across the street,) among many other amenities. It is about two blocks away from the Museum of Arts of Puerto Rico, the largest art museum in San Juan, and of the 'Bellas Artes' Arts Center of Puerto Rico where theater and many concerts are held. Its area is one of the oldest and better known neighborhoods in Puerto Rico with many art deco style buildings. This unit is about a 10-minute walk to the beach, or a 6 minute bus ride, and it is a 9-minute bus ride to Old San Juan.

Should you want to go to the Condado Area and Ashford Avenue it is less than a mile away, about a 10 minute walk. There you can find many other amenities and things to do being it the center of the tourist area in Puerto Rico. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, nightlife, parks, beaches, hotels and other tourist attractions.

Access to and from the property is very easy. Major arteries are easy to access which makes it very easy to go to Old San Juan, the Yunque Rain Forest or any other areas in Puerto Rico. It is basically a straight drive to the Old San Juan.

The property is also across the street from a bus lane should you rather use public transportation on your way to Old San Juan or any other area in its network.

The apartment has 6 large rooms and three large modern full bathrooms, plus the following:

The LOft

We are a music group of 11 and the loft was a perfect space for a bunch of friends who get along and have fun. The open space worked well for us. We thought it might be nice to have the option of blinds in the large space, but the light is wonderful. The best part of this property is the manager, Sebastian. He was so helpful. Gave us ideas of things to do and see and was available whenever we had a question, no matter how insignificant. Thank you Sebastian!! We recommend this property for families or groups of folks who don't normally live together.

simply perfect

We rented this apartment for a family reunion and it was the perfect apartment for us. It is enormous and super spacious - great for a big group! Lots of areas to hang around the lounge with a large balcony and lots of bedrooms. A/C worked well in the apartment and kept it cool at all times. Kitchen is well equipped with pots, pans, coffee maker, blender, etc. WIFI connection was a bit weak in rooms furthest away from the router (so this is something to take into consideration if you need strong wifi connection in all rooms). There is a 24 hour supermarket (with a mini cafeteria) across the street which is incredible convenient for buying anything you need! One parking spot is also provided which is great for when you rent a car. Apartment is a 15 min walk to the beach but ubers are plentiful and cheap. For a big group of 9 or more this is a one of a kind apartment and is simply perfect! Communication with Sebastian was seamless and he always responded promptly and even stopped by to check on us and bring some more supplies!

Spacious Great location

Overall the place is very good. Here are the top pluses:

1- Location: Great area with cafes, restaurants, a "wonderful" bookstore next door, a 24-hour full grocery store across the street, within walking distance to the beach, and a 10 minutes drive to Old SJ.

2- Property Management: Sebastian is wonderful. He was available upon arrival, answered all our questions, and checked on us daily.

3- Space: 6 bedrooms, 3 baths, and a huge open living area with many windows & natural light.

Here are minor negatives:

1- Design: Keep in mind this is a LOFT. If you like the coziness of a house with front & backyard then this is not the right place for you. This loft was a business/office space that had been converted into residential area. This explains why the main master bedroom is not connected to it's master bathroom. Two of the bathrooms have "Miami windows" which are "metal shutters" that are constantly semi-open causing the bathrooms to be hot all the time. The street noise in the bathrooms was annoying (esp that there is a bar/restaurant with loud music downstairs next door). You feel you are inside the bar when using the bathroom, but once the bathroom doors are closed, you can barely hear the noise in the loft . In addition, the windows of the 2 bedrooms on the other side of the loft didn't have "full" curtains to cover the windows so privacy could be an issue. Our girls didn't like this part esp when you have offices across the street with employees and open windows.

2- Little things: The mattress & queen size master bed need updating (the mattress was uncomfortable and the bed "squeaks"). It would also be nice to add bedside night lamp/light to the bedrooms. The separate main master bathroom shower can use more "water pressure". The Wi-Fi signal is weak on the opposite side of the loft further from the router. A stronger router or a signal booster would be great to add.

Overall we were pleased with the property. San Juan (Puerto Rico in general) has so much to offer. I personally believe the island is not "selling" itself to the world adequately. It has much more to offer than places like Cancun & the Bahamas. The beaches, the history/architecture, the forests/falls, fishing, the food, the prices, and the friendly people are beyond wonderful! Being part of USA makes travel, language, money, etc much easier.

Beautiful Loft, Great Location, Wonderful Management!!

This was my 1st visit to Puerto Rico and this loft and location was part of what made this trip Great. The loft itself is very spacious, modern and kept in great condition. We had 10 adults in the unit and everyone had plenty of space. We spent a lot of time on the outside balcony which added additional space and everyone really loved sitting outside at night listening to the city move. The loft was located close to a few places to eat, across the street from a 24 hour grocery store, a Planet Fitness and a short drive or 10 minute walk to the beach. We always felt very safe in the loft and right outside the area. Sebastian was get to work with, he checked on us during our stay, he was a great source of information and went over everything we needed to know about the loft and area when we arrived. We wanted to hook up our cellphone to the sterol to play music and we couldn't figure out how to do it so we called Sebastian and he went out and brought a iHome portable speaker for us to use (Wow)!! We had a small problem with the television and Sebastian had a technician there the next day to fix it. He was always available for questions, problems, suggestions etc. He was easy to communicate with and was a joy to work with. If we ever return to Puerto Rico we will be contacting Sebastian and renting this beautiful loft again.

Spacious Condo

The condo was huge! There was more than enough space for our friends to all feel comfortable. The rooms worked out perfectly! We were let in earlier than our check-in time so the property was still a bit messy. Taking a taxi to and from was a bit difficult as most taxis didn't know where we were saying without pointing out the grocery store across the street. Sebastian was always available and went out of his way to make keys and bring them to us when we were out and about. The A/C in the bedroom with the king bed did not work properly, so our room was always hot. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent/spacious place in a great neighborhood!

I was totally surprised at how amazing this place turned out to be. So much space and nice amenities. Close to great restaurants and shops! Walking distance to the beach.

Very smooth checkin process with Senastian who was always accessible by phone/text readily. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and would most likely come back very soon.
