Welcome to Casa Botanica, named for the Botanical Gardens a stone’s throw away, your mango tree-lined, sparkling poolside, sun-dappled and spacious retreat in beautiful Naples. Less than a 10-minute drive from 5th Avenue, 3rd Street South and the Downtown Beaches.
From the hammock under the fruit trees to the sparkling pool to the living room bar, there’s not an inch of our home that doesn’t invite you to let loose and enjoy paradise. Everything’s coming up roses at Casa Botanica. Come see for yourself!
Paradise is Better Together
Yes, you’re in the Sunshine State, but that doesn’t mean you can’t also have it made in the shade. Case in point: our sleek and modern living room, where you take a break from the rays by kicking your feet up on a contemporary sofa while enjoying the flat-screen TV or playing a game on the Wii U.
Those with culinary skills can show off in a fully-appointed gourmet kitchen, decked out with granite countertops and every appliance you’ll need for that recipe you’ve always wanted to try. Pluck mangos from the yard for a mouthwatering breakfast or grab produce at one of several surrounding markets – fruits and vegetable are always in season here in paradise!
After dinner, there’s fun to be had by the kids and kids-at-heart. Let the younger crew run off to the garage game room for Ping-Pong and foosball while the adults pour, shake and stir at the fully stocked honesty bar.
By Foot, Bike or Car
The Botanical Gardens are so close, a decent breeze just about brings the scent of blooms to our yard. When you’ve worked up an afternoon appetite, ride a bike to Taqueria San Julian for authentic dishes and margaritas so good you may just opt for a lazy afternoon by the pool after all (we don’t judge – you’re on vacation time).
If meal prep’s not in the cards, peddle over to Three60 Market for homemade pastas, sandwiches and quiches on the waterfront patio – and don’t leave without sampling their wine list and inventive ice cream sandwiches.
A bit further afoot, downtown Naples offers up European-inspired streetscapes, upscale boutiques, and mouthwatering dining — not to mention the historic Naples Pier. And just outside the shops and restaurants, a world of wilderness waits to be discovered. Whether it's the stunning landscapes of the Everglades or downtown-style trendiness you're looking for, there's both to be had here.
Hailing from Denmark and England, our love affair with Naples began when we purchased our first home here over 15 years ago and truly took off in 2012 — that's when we decided that a life of sun, surf and sand suited us and made this Gulf Coast city our home.
Since then, we've been growing our offering of homes to provide our guests with truly memorable stays. Whether it's a beach backyard, perfect pergola or Key West attitude, every one of our homes has a personality all its own.
We saw the opportunity to infuse our own roots into southwest Florida and took it: our picture-perfect gardens are a result of Michael's English green thumb, and our ultra-chic interior design and furnishings can be credited to Rikke's Scandinavian heritage.
My husband and I took a week off before Christmas to get a much needed break from the Ohio weather, and this house was perfect. There was not a single thing it was lacking, we took full advantage of the bikes and used them almost every day. There were beach chairs available, tennis rackets and balls to use, and every kitchen essential you could need. Plenty of grocery store options a very short drive away. Perfect location, and great value. We would love to stay here again!

We (five adults: husband and wife, son and daughter-in-law, and wife's mother) thoroughly enjoyed our week long stay at this property. We loved being able to access good restaurants and shops in Downtown Naples that was close by. We also visited family in Marco Island & nearby beaches. It was always great to return to such a comfortable house and, in particular, such a relaxing pool and back yard! The house was extremely well-furnished and equipped with everything we needed. Thank you, Michael, for providing very helpful notes on the house and area prior to our visit, for your responsiveness to questions, and most of all for providing a place for a nice get-away trip!
We rented this house in south Naples for a family spring get away and we were disappointed. For the amount of rent that was charged for this home, they should at least have comfortable beds. They did not. The size of the home was good, it was clean and it does have a nice pool, but the furniture was flimsy and the beds need a complete upgrade. Also, the patio screen door was falling off its hinges and the master bedroom door hinge was loose and would barely close. Pool chairs and cushions should be replaced (stained and rusty) and pool toys were not in good shape. We have rented homes in North Naples for many years and the quality seemed much better for the rental price. We will not use this property again.
This was the first time renting a home for our vacation and we were a little nervous. Would the house be as nice as the pictures? Would the house be clean? Would the pool be clean and as big as it looked in pictures?Would the owners be as great as the reviews indicated? Well, the answer to all of our questions was "yes"! The house was spacious, yet warm and inviting. It was clean! The pool was fantastic (and clean)! The amenities were great, ping pong in the garage, bikes and even very nice beach chairs and an unmbrella for us to use. The location was very convenient for all of the activities we had planned, just a short drive to everything. We contacted Michael once to ask for some additional towels, we had a dozen of each type waiting for us the following day! Last but not least, our deposit was returned to us timely, and we were even compensated for changing the propane tank on the gas grill, which really was not an issue for us. We will definitely consider ScandiNaples properties for our next trip to the Naples area! Thank you for a great stay!
Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Michael met us and showed us all of the wonderful features of the home and made us feel incredibly welcome. The house itself is beautiful including the pool area and garden with pergola - so much so we didn't make it out of the home for a few days after arrival. All four bedrooms have comfortable beds with their own or adjacent bathrooms and climate controls. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans and plenty of ingredients for those that may have left some behind. We cooked all of our meals either in the kitchen or on the gas & charcoal grill and didn't find ourselves missing anything. The one area our family enjoyed the most was the pool. It's a wonderful pool that gets all day sunshine -plenty of comfy sun loungers and outdoor furniture for twilight cocktails. We were pleasantly surprised to see that Michael had a stock of pool toys, floaters and foldable chairs & umbrellas for the beach. There was plenty of sitting area. We also took advantage of the bikes and went for a morning ride around the area. Michael was accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. For anyone looking for a quiet and lovely vacation spot I highly recommend Casa Botanica. We will certainly look forward to visiting it again soon!
We had a really nice week at this property. Came from the cold north for a week in February with 4 kids ages 7 to 14. This home is on a nicely landscaped lot that includes a firepit and outdoor sitting area. The pool and lanai are spacious and a great place to hang out during the day, this is definitely where our kids spent the most time. We also appreciated how the home was nicely furnished and had plenty of dishes and towels, plus extras like bikes and beach toys in the garage. These are thoughtful touches by the owner that make the stay convenient. We had one rainy day and the kids (and myself!) had lots fun playing Super Mario Brothers on the Wii U. There are a couple of small drawbacks renters should be aware of. The main road running alongside the house gets busy during the week, traffic noise can be a problem if you're a light sleeper. Also at night I saw a number of people wandering this same road who looked like trouble, the police actually arrested one of these guys on our corner. I think overall the neighborhood is safe, but just be aware it can be a mixed crowd. My last recommendation would be to add some more lighting to the lanai for swimming / hanging out at night.
We spent a week at Casa Botanica towards the end of February, and it was perfect for us. It's located in a quiet area a short drive from the center of Naples and a short walk from the botanical gardens. Having an 8 and a 3 year old, the toys and books provided by the owners were a godsend, as were the various pool toys. The house and garden are well-maintained and nicely laid out, and the kitchen had all of the utensils we needed.
