It's perfect for an evening BBQ.
The kitchen is well equipped and a local Urban Market grocery store is just two blocks away. Granville Island Market is also within walking distance. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby if you prefer.
A MOBI bicycle station is within minutes and links up to the new Arbutus Greenway - a fabulous walking/ cycling path that connects for miles.

Why John and Vicki Dalziel chose West Side
We fell in love with this neighborhood over 20 years ago and finally bought our little duplex dream home in 2001. Our friends call our street one of the prettiest as it is lined with flowering trees and amazing gardens. Our favorite feature is our private garden courtyard. It's a magical spot.
What makes this Townhome unique
It's a great location to allow you to experience all that Vancouver has to offer. Ideal for 4 travelers, it's tucked in a beautiful neighbourhood minutes from downtown. You can easily walk almost anywhere or even hop on the bus which stops around the corner. The Arbutus Greenway provides miles of pathways for walking/cycling. It's right at the end of the block with MOBI cycle stations ready if you want to rent a bicycle. You're approximately 20 minutes walk/ 10 minute bike ride to Kits Beach and Granville Island Market. You'll also find galleries and great shopping just a few blocks away on South Granville. Plus we have public tennis courts nearby. Picking and choosing what to do during your stay may be your hardest decision of all. Fitting right into the urban vibe of Vancouver, our home has wood floors, modern decor, and a well equipped kitchen complete with everything you'll need to whip up tasty meals during your stay. Along with all the major appliances, the kitchen includes a microwave, toaster, wine glasses, coffeemaker, dishwasher, and plenty of cookware. There's a BBQ with patio dining in the courtyard. (a lovely organic butcher is just around the corner plus a Loblaw's Urban Market is just two blocks away) There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you prefer not to cook.

Lovely home - comfortable and so convenient
We stayed in John and Vicki's home for nearly 5 weeks. This home met all our needs. It was clean and well equipped - a real haven to come home to. Particularly enjoyed the combination lock on the front door - no hassles with keys! 5 minute walk to the bus stop and a local supermarket which made commuting and food shopping a pleasure. Highly recommended

a charming house in a charming neighborhood
Our group of 3 spent a full week in Vicki and John's house and had a great time.
It is extremely well located in Kitsilano, withing walking distance of West 4th Avenue shops and restaurants.
The house is charming from top to bottom and has a real "home" feeling. Both rooms have great beds, and the dining room downstairs is very practical.
John and Vicki were very quick to respond to our questions, and very nice too!
Very clean, comfortable, and safe!
We very much enjoyed our stay at John and Vicki's home. The location was perfect... near shopping, groceries, beaches, and city life. Would love to come again when we visit! Would recommend without a doubt. Thank you for the lovely place to stay. Lisa.
Perfect home from home
What a perfect property for our 2 week stay in Vancouver. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers and the house was ideal for our needs. It is perfectly located being in a quiet residential area but access to Downtown Vancouver and beyond couldn't be easier, whether driving or using the local bus service. There are restaurants and an amazing supermarket within very easy reach. The property is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you might need; it really is a home from home. We would recommend the property to anyone thinking of visiting Vancouver and hope to return ourselves one day in the future.

A perfect place
This is a great place to stay. It is close to various bus stops/routes and is located on a charming tree lined street. Very easy to get to UBC and Pacific Spirit park. Vicki and John were incredibly responsive to our requests and needs. The front patio, which is shaded from the street was an idyllic place to eat from early morning breakfast to evening dinners. Great meat store and ice cream shop down the stree. A great walking/biking trail around the corner. Indeed we loved it!

Vancouver's Granville Island Market is about a 20 - 25 minute walk away. Kits Beach is also close at hand. Tennis courts, shopping and galleries are just a few blocks away plus University Golf Course is a short drive or bus ride away. Two blocks away is a convenient new Loblaws Urban Market. Just opened this year is the Arbutus Greenway which is a beautiful walking or cycling path right at the end of the street.

We require a damage deposit of C$500.00 or travelers can purchase $59.00 Damage Protection Insurance. Details of the C$500.00 refundable damage deposit can be found on the rental agreement. A cleaning charge of $100.00 is required upon your checkout.
