About Joely Polokoff

I bought this home and gutted it then renovated it form the floor up. It is all brand new! I worked very hard at making this a lovely rental. Please take good care of it while you are renting as well as all of the possessions.

Joely Polokoff purchased this cottage in 2009

Why Joely Polokoff chose Hudson Valley

This is a great little house to spend time in. It's comfortable and cozy and will allow you private time as well as being close to major shopping and nearby attractions. It is also very relaxing to have a deck out the back door to listen to the rushing water and waterfalls.

What makes this cottage unique

It has a lovely stream behind the house with little waterfalls that make the greatest sounds!

Many of the items have a history that is meaningful. All items are for sale and can be purchased during your stay. (Of course, if things are broken or missing, you will be charged to replace them, not just for the item but fro the time it takes to replace them as well.)

Great little getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We spend a weekend here while spending time with our son at West Point. The house had everything we could ask for and was very neat and clean. Joely was very helpful and easy to communicate with. We would most definitely recommend this little mountain house and would absolutely consider it for another time.

Owner's Response: Eric and his family were great visitors! Easy to communicate with and knew what they needed and asked the right questions for me as a host to be able to help them. The Little House was left very clean, as well as neat and tidy. It was a pleasure having Eric and his family stay and hope to have them again in the future while visiting the area.

Perfect family house

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the cottage for a couple weeks before we moved into a home. Joley went out of her way to provide us with toys and kids kitchen items as well as local information. She was prompt in communication and checked in with us throughout the stay. We loved eating on the deck and opening the windows at night to hear the stream. It was a peaceful retreat in the middle of a chaotic move and we would stay here again.

Wonderful, relaxing stay!

  • 5 of 5

We had a great week at this Hudson Valley Cottage! Very serene and peaceful, with the most beautiful stream and waterfalls just off the back porch! The house was the perfect size for myself, my husband and my brother and his wife. Very comfortable, with everything we needed to cook meals. The kitchen is nice and open and very cute. The bedrooms had plenty of space for us and were comfy and cozy. The hosts were very attentive and we really appreciated how responsive and helpful they were. Great stay, and I recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway, romantic getaway, or good base to explore the area from!
