We had our company retreat and it worked out great. The houses are rustic but comfortable. Amazing, property beautiful and the horses were really fun to have around! thanks!
Our visit was for a family reunion. We were 22 people and fit very comfortably in the four cottages. It was great to have space to be together and space to be private. The kitchens were well appointed, allowing group cooking/dining.
Great communication and my group loved their stay!
The place was very quiet and serene. Beds are comfortable and each house is unique and honey. There are horses completely surrounding the ranch and a polo field along the shared driveway. We stayed for a two night retreat and the four spaces easily fit the 15 of us. It being work related, the internet not functioning for much of our stay made it a bit inconvenient. No air conditioning made my staff sleepy during mid day meetings, but it was not unbearable. The bocce ball and tennis courts got good use from our group and made for excellent R and R. Lastly, while one of the coffee makers (the cuisnart in farm house) was insurmountable to all 15 of us (we just couldn't get it to brew a pot of coffee), this didn't stop anyone from getting their caffeine fix. Cerra Pompa is so close to Petaluma proper that in a fifteen minute ride we were able to have a great night out at Cucina Paradiso.
The property manager was somewhat unhelpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was very happy with the location.
I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I recommend this vacation rental.
We rented four small houses on a polo farm for our extended family's reunion. The farm was delightful, and its manager was friendly and welcoming. However, he was not in charge of the houses, which were taken care of by My VR Host LLC. They did a good job of cleaning them and making them on time, but many things in them were broken. The tv, dvd player, etc., were plugged into a broken surge protector, which we eventually had to replace ourselves so that we could watch the Olympics. The electricity was faulty in several rooms, and when the electrician came, they told us that the switches were not up to code, there were no batteries in the fire alarms in several bedrooms, and the computer controlling the oven in one of the houses needed rebooting. Only one of those things was taken care of during our visit. One of the houses had broken showers, which we reported on the second day of our stay but were only fixed on the fifth day. We loved the place, but the management company is not really taking good enough care of the houses or responding adequately to complaints. The situation was made doubly difficulty by the fact that there was no cell phone service there and internet service was also intermittent, so we couldn't repeatedly contact the management company, which is what they seemed to expect before they would do anything to repair the properties they are supposed to be managing. So we were very happy with the place, the setting, the livestock, the people who work on the farm, and many things about the houses themselves, which are pleasant, clean, and comfortable. We wish, though, that their electricity and plumbing were actually up to code (which they aren't) and that the problems with electricity and plumbing had been addressed promptly, without needing to contact the My VR Host LLC repeatedly.
